Great bookshop, almost a trip down memory lane due to using a kindle reader for last 10 years. Forgot what it feels like to look at shelves dull of books.

Superb customer service in here today from a young gent called Josh. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and was an effervescent and welcoming presence.

The staff here are really helpful and lovely. Super passionate about books, which helps in a book shop! It's a bit hard to navigate with a wheelchair and there's no disabled access for the upstairs which is a shame, but I do still enjoy this shop. Their book displays are always on point which is very dangerous for my purse. Can I just buy this shop instead and live in it?

We visit Winchester regularly and have often walked past this restaurant on our way past the cathedral so it was good to try. Generously topped and crispy based, really hit the spot. Very friendly service and great to bag a table out in the sun.

I bought some awesome books there. A member of staff did not approve of my purchases so we had a disagreement on what constituted a good novel. Personally I think that people should be allowed to read whatever tickles their fancy because reading should always be encouraged.

Otherwise there is a wide selection upstairs and downstairs and you can always find something good to read.

For a small store it had a great selection of books. The only thing that let it down was there being no lift. This meant as a disabled person that only the ground floor was accessible. The staff were busy so I wasn't able to ask for help to find a book on another floor. At least most other Waterstones I've visited have a lift

Started great, friendly assistant took us straight to the book we wanted. Went to the till and was ignored by the very important person who decided interviewing a potential temp was more important than serving a paying customer much to the embarrassment of the potential employee. Awful close to what was almost a great shopping experience.
