For the lads. If you want an air gun this is the place to go, the staff knowledge from the elderly lady behind the desk was insanely good.

Trago has its uses, it used to be the place to go for bargains but not so much anymore. Good prices on carpets and selective items but it does have everything you need.

Free parking and lots of food on offer

The railway and family fun park looked like a deserted 70s amusement park, nothing open, the arcade and model railway were laughable, I'm glad I wasn't taking little people there for a fun day out they'd have been gutted. Shop wise, it sells everything but the place is a mess, there's no care from the staff about the stuff dumped on the floor etc. Won't rush back

Great to see Trago evolving. The cafe in the entrance is a brilliant idea. It’s really well hosted by Claire and Leanne, who went above and beyond to be helpful and hospitable. Would recommend some better quality coffee beans, but well done overall. Trago is on the up!

Some parts leave a lot to be desired but I didn’t find it as bad as many others have. There are a lot of food stalls and the shops have virtually everything you could want, and the garden section is amazing. Look out for peacocks that roam around! The train ride was probably the highlight of the visit, and the ride took about 20-25 minutes. There’s a variety of scenery to be seen on the train. The model trains were good, but one or two of the interactive displays there didn’t work. The fun park didn’t have much operating besides the go karts and boats, but even without the fun park there was enough to be done. It seemed that as the day went on it became more of a ghost town, but Trago has that “old feel” to it and it can still be quite charming.

So much choice! It's enormous including kitchen plumbing and carpet sections. Presumably as they buy in bulk the prices are really keen...and discounts further on couple of days in week. Plus a nice cafeteria just fewsteps from store entrance ...more of a cafeteria ground floor but we prefer upstairs in a circular room with amazing views to Dartmoor. Also in season lots of outdoor little rides and ice cream shops for little ones. Need a couple of hours there!

So big we were overwhelmed.
You certainly get your daily steps in just walking around the store.
We had breakfast in the restaurant. It was very good.
The lunches, cakes and pastries they offer, the selection was amazing. You could easily spend a day in the shop and restaurant.
If you can find the entrance to the petrol station they have very cheap fuel.
Wished we lived 100 miles nearer. We certainly would be regular visitors.
Perhaps the owners would like to open a store in Surrey or Berkshire.

Used to go as a child and now returned with my own and it was a nice experience. It’s a bit dated in places but there’s so much to see it more than makes ip for it. We loved the animal park especially. The shop is good value, though the food outlets seem expensive. Fuel is very good value.
