Argos support agreed we could return our BUSH tv and exchange for a dofferent brand as we had the same issue with another BUSH tv. They told us they put a note on our account and just to go in with the tv and order number. From the second we got to the till the snotty manager made us feel like inconvinient scabs for returning a faulty tv we paid for. When my husband was talking explaing how we had bought 2 tvs at the same time and returned the other one with no issue, she kept rudely talking over him about a 3o days policy (even though argos support had already agreed and we exchanged the other one outside the 30 days) after arguing about her attitude she did the exchange as the argos support said so I Don't understand the need to argue and have attitude atal, it might be inconvenient to her but it also is to us, as of we wanted to have purchased a faulty tv. We've all got things going on in life why work in customer service to treat people like a problem.

Shocking, rude, unhelpful, Simon should never be in a customer facing role.
Reported to customer services, went to Paignton to resolve issue.
Paignton staff were fantastic, will always shop there when I need something from Argos.

I bought a garden strimmer, it was only £38 but £38 is £38.
I got it home and used it, it works, it did the job. Unfortunately it is designed for a child or a midget. I’m six feet tall, by the time I had trimmed the garden I was crippled, I still am. If your over 4 ft tall don’t buy from Argos garden section.might be fine for the little chinamen that produce them, but total rubbish for us Brits, I won’t be using it again, my backs killing me.

Shockingly bad customer service!! Bought some earphones opened the box but the charger was the wrong one. Went to return an hour later to exchange for different ones was refused an exchange or refund because the box had been opened! They hadn’t even been used. Will never use this store again!!!

The benefits of click and collect seem minimal. You are forced to stand first in the sales queue and then the collect queue like every other customer, which seems counterintuitive to put it mildly. Also I was completely ignored by two of the three staff on duty.

On 18th Dec 12:07 visited the store and was struggling to find product at the self serviice station. Yasemin noticed and came did a great job in explaining how the self service ordering works, then was able to get my item and left with a smile. Very curtious, understanding and went extra to make the experience less stressful than it needed to be. Thank you .....

Picked a pre-ordered item here on the morning of 4th April, and also purchased another item whilst there. The member of staff on duty at the time was outstanding; pro-active, helpful (not just to me) and not just mooching behind the counter waiting for something to happen. I had taken the trouble to actually check stock levels of what I wanted before I went, this is recommended. It's not a huge store but it is really convenient. Which is more than can be said for central Torquay - and some of the staff in Argos down there could to with spending an hour watching this woman in action.

My builder bought a £14 blind for my rental property from here. It broke when he was putting it up but stuck the 2 plastic pieces together. The blind was very poor quality and my lodgers found it difficult to open and close it. I bought a replacement from Blinds2go and took the Argos blind back for a refund. I had the receipt but it had been over 2 months due to the lockdown and I assumed a blind was non essential shopping. The manager refused to give me a refund or vouchers and I was outraged.
