We had a great time at the Exploratorium with our Potions Master, Jack. We were the only party booked, so we had the place to ourselves. The experience was immersive and quite interactive. We enjoyed blending our own teas and potions. With a bit of imagination and the help of a good teacher, magic can be made. The food during tea service—I mean potions class was also tasty.

If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping into a magical world, brewing your own potions, and sipping on enchanting teas, then this is the experience for you. As someone who was obsessed with potions and all things magical as a child, getting to do this in my late 20s was nothing short of a dream come true.

Both the afternoon tea and potions-making class were absolutely worth every penny. 100/10! From start to finish, the atmosphere, the creativity, and the immersive experience made me feel like I had truly entered a world of magic. Whether you come alone (like I did) or with friends, family, or even for a kid’s party, this experience is perfect for all ages and group sizes. Plus, you always have the choice to sit by yourself or next to someone else who is also solo, which makes it super flexible and comfortable.

Now, let’s talk about the magical details. A unicorn making your cocktail, fog swirling around your drinks, color-changing teas, and wands that actually bring a little magic to life. The food was absolutely delicious, and every little touch added to the experience.

A massive shoutout to the staff for making this experience even more special: IO and Percy from the potions-making class were not only hilarious but made me feel completely immersed in the magical world. Connor and Nicole, the incredible bartenders, crafted some of the best cocktails, and L, our afternoon tea wizard, made sure we were always taken care of, adding a little extra magic to everything. They all took the time to chat with me while I enjoyed one of the delicious whisky cocktails, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable.

The venue itself is in a small, old building, but the magic within its walls is enormous. The staff, the concept, and the experience all come together to create something truly special.

Thank you for two unforgettable experiences and for making me feel like a kid again! ✨

This was an incredible experience! Visiting from America to spend Christmas with friends, we couldn’t have chosen a better way to enjoy our first time in London. Jack was absolutely fantastic, keeping everyone engaged and making the entire experience so memorable. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, this is an absolute must-do!

I spent a really enjoyable 28th birthday here. We had the wizards’ afternoon tea and while I cannot say this is the absolute best afternoon tea I have ever had, I was extremely impressed with the vegan offering. We had tasty sandwiches, scones (with cream!) and some delicious desserts.

We personally enjoyed the magical effects and while some may feel they are slightly gimmicky, I think you need to go into places like this with an open mind. As a science lover, I loved the potion making and dry ice drinks.

I think it’s worth the price for the tasty food, great service (shoutout to Connor for hosting us) and magical effects!

Seen this on social media late last year and made a note to come here while in London for a mini trip. Straight from the get go the staff were welcoming and friendly, cannot explain how great this whole experience was. Our potions expert was Mal, who along with others, gave us a great experience. We started the night off with some bubbling death shots, and inbetween our potions making we sampled others, dragons breath was very nice. Overall, this is a must, you won't be disappointed!

We went along for a company team event; 6 of us at an Afternoon tea. We thoroughly enjoyed it! The building was fabulously atmospheric and our host, Wizard Jack, was superb. His character and humour were just outrageous enough, without being too over-the-top. He kept the games, potions and spells just light enough, and knew just when to leave us to our own devices. He was a lovely host. The food was just right - some light delicious savouries followed by superbly delicious sweet treats. The tea-making was hilarious! All-in-all a delightful afternoon, thank you!

What a great start to our trip in London!
Io welcomed my husband and me making us feel already in a magical place. With the right amount of irony Io guided us through the perfect Wizard Afternoon Tea, teaching us many magic secrets and potion trickery. The pastries, sandwiches, teas and cocktails were very good and tasty. If you want to feel like a true wizard or witch, and eat like one, this is the perfect place for you!
Thanks, Io!

Visiting The Wands & Wizard Exploratorium for Halloween was enchanting! The atmosphere was spot on for wizards and witches, though it’s tucked away on back streets and quite small inside, with only three tables. The potion-making experience, however, was unforgettable – great storytelling, delicious ingredients, and options for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. While it’s a unique experience, I’d recommend checking out The Cauldron location for a bit more space and ambiance.
