Poor service and Customer service non existent

I have been using this company for a while and whilst there products are generally good, there service and customer service in awful.

I took out a subscription months ago for a veg box, a berry box a bread box and a cheese box.

I've had constant problems with receiving boxes and constantly have to chase up.
They don't keep you updated on your order.

They make constant excuses for not sending boxes out like waiting for bread as bread only sent out 2 days a week or waiting for another cheese delivery.

Instead of arranging early and sending out early they send very late and only after you chase them up.

They take money up to a month in advance for subscriptions which seems rediculous so they know about your order a Month in advance, so plenty of time to arrange the bread and cheese so no excuses really for not sending or sending late.

Just a very poorly run company.
If you have a problem with a order good luck getting a response, even if you do it's just excuse after excuse. There customer service is non existent.

In September I received a very damaged berry box, had to throw most away. I was promised that a replacement box would be sent out, then they made excuses like problems at there farm and berries not ripe.

Tried to be patient and understanding but they went silent. It's now end of November and have heard nothing from them in over a months and still haven't received replacement Berry box.

This month's boxes were due for delivery on Friday 22nd October, Thursday 21st they should have send out which is a bread day, but it's now 25th October and still not received this month's boxes and no communication from them.

I've emailed veg box company twice but so far no response.

When you actually manage to received your order there products are very good. But sadly can not recommend this company due to how poor the service and customer service is.

I would definitely avoid taking out a subscription for boxes with them at all costs, unless you don't mind payment being taken up to a month in advance then fighting to get Boxes.

I've just cancelled my subscription with them as have had enough and will be going else where.

I have been using this company for about a year now. The fruit , vegetable and fruit boxes are fantastic. The freshness is amazing and the delivery is brilliant and always arrives next day. I have recommended friends and family to this amazing company.

The customer service here is brilliant and they are always helpful. Best fresh produce boxes around. That’s for sure

I have decided to no longer use this company after a lettuce arrived infested with dead flies and items stated on the website where missing from my box. I don’t believe the produce is as fresh as they state.

They don’t value customers and you are just seen as an order number.

They just don’t care and ignore your emails. They don’t need customers so avoid them. They are not the only company who offers this service. Shop around.

They don’t need your custom because they don’t value customers. I have been a customer here for a over a year and I feel like they don’t care.

They have let standards slip and only care about their new tiktok fan base. I also don’t feel comfortable having my name and location read out to everyone on tiktok lives. I know they packed my box on a live because I had no name of who packed it on my order and the owner also told me.

They have begged me to stay a customer but that’s the final straw for me now.

I’ve been a customer here since November 2021. That’s how long I’ve been using them and this week I won’t be using them ever again.

I was meant to be send a free box this company with the items I was missing. I was told first it would arrive Thursday at first then Friday. It’s funny because the owner was sorting this out as a sorry and so far I don’t feel very impressed.

I emailed this morning for tracking and I’ve been told it’s been send. They are trying so hard to keep me as a customer they even bribed me with a 5% voucher for a year. I can see as a valued customer I’m only worth 5% to them.

They don’t care about the customers here and only see you as a money maker. I’m done for good with this company they are so unreliable and enough is enough.

Don’t shop here please. They don’t deserve regular customers because you get treated like rubbish by them.

They didn’t even ask me what day I want the replacement order send out on. They told me total joke.

I never got the things they were going to send out. They are a rude company and now ignoring my emails.

UNSANITARY

MOUSE DROPPINGS & MOULDY VEGETABLES

I recently received my first box with this company. I was severely disappointed. Several items were mouldy. All the paper bags were damp further encouraging the mould. The kale had mouse droppings on it which contaminated the entire box and has serious potential health risks.

I have sent this through to the company and they have repeatedly dodged my requests and refused to refund the box.

I have no intention of ever purchasing from this company again.

We have stopped using them because the quality of the fruit and veg has declined too much. I have contacted them by email, and via their chat feature, to ask to cancel and be removed from their mailing list. Nobody has got back to me, nor have the chat messages been read. Its a shame, we want to give business to local companies but this one just isn't up to scratch, sadly, both from a customer service and quality control point of view.

A friend brought the Mixed Box along to a weekend away. It was a brilliant idea for a weekend self catering because everything we needed was in the box and so easy to pack. The vegetables and fruit were so well packaged and yet not waste full. All of the produce was so fresh and so tasty. I was blown away by the choice on their website of availability of an array of products. I have ordered for myself as a regular order but also as gifts for family for Christmas. Give it a go !

I ordered a basket of fruit from the Veg Box for delivery to a friend. Unfortunately the basket didn't arrive. I contacted the company and asked where the basket was only it didn't arrive at the destination.

I got all the help and answers I needed with a huge apology. I was told that the basket would be sent again as they don't understand what had happened. They would contact the Courier to find out.

It was due to the couriers closing a couple of their depots so nothing the Veg Box Company could do about that. The Veg Box Company told me they would send another one out to my friend and it would arrive two days later. It was explained that had I rung earlier my friend would have received it the following day.

However, it came when it was promised and my friend ended up receiving, not just one basket but, two baskets of fruit. She was delighted. It proved to me that the Veg Box Company do care passionately about their business and their customers.

I will be using them again and will recommend them to everyone I know. I do highly recommend the Veg Box Company for your fruit and veg shopping. The prices are very reasonable and they go that extra mile to ensure a premium service. When things go wrong they sort it out quickly and efficiently.

Terrible. Had a £50 voucher to spend on fruit and veg. After several failed attempts, finally made a successful order for delivery on 23 December to help with cost of Xmas food. Order was later cancelled due to the voucher partners not paying The Veg Box Company() and after speaking with The Veg Box Company, they will not deliver after 16 December, despite not informing customers of this when placing the order.

contacted the team last week, concerned that the weather here on West Coast of Scotland this week might mean cancelled ferries and no delivery. They pulled out all stops to get it despatched early and its arrived today, all perfect. Can't thank them enough.
