First visit to get some ideas. Nice informal set up with a number of volunteer staff.

Absolute crafters haven, if you are prepared to mooch. You will never know what you will find and are unlikely to find it if looking for something very specific. If you enjoy a wide range of crafts and are prepared to take a chance then The Craft Barn is well worth a visit.
Only open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The staff are very helpful and are more than prepared to help where possible.
Lots of fabric, haberdashery and papercraft stuff. Plus lots of books.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Friendly and helpful staff. A whole range of crafting items that are donated so a bit hit and miss that you find what you are looking for but if you have the time to browse you won't come away empty handed and it's run for a good cause. Well worth a visit but check opening times before you set off. Plenty of parking, minimal rates but machines only take cash.

I can't give it less than 5 stars because of the good work that they do and the cause they support.
My Mrs is into "Crafting", y'know, making cards and things. This place is the size of an average living room yet she managed to spend nearly an hour and a half looking through what they had for sale and walked out with LOADS of stamps and papers and other stuff that I haven't got a clue what it is/does. She reckons that it was worth well over £100 but cost around 10 here. Apparently loads of people got into crafting during Covid and didn't keep it up, so there is a load of new and unused stuff being donated and bargains to be found.
If you're a "Crafter" you'll love this place. If you're not a Crafter but are taking your crafting other half then for the love of God take a packed lunch and a book.
Pokemon Go rating - There are a couple of gyms and enough stops around the lake to keep you interested.

Love this place, go over every 2-3 weeks get loads of bargains and help a charity at the same time, the staff are wonderful and so helpful well worth a visit if you have never been
