The bells ring for hours every night. The music is out of sync and sounds like a 3 year old is pulling the ropes. Give up already

Never visited the church inside, but the non stop bell ringing in the evenings on Tuesday is driving me crazy. It's literally 1.5 hour of bells non stop! Living nearby is becoming unbearable.

This is our family church, we got married here in 1989, our daughter christened 1994, our daughter married 2015, and now our grandson christened 2018.
We are always made to feel welcome, and as the church is not too big, it helps to not feel overwhelmed.
Its a beutiful old building inside & out, with bells. Right in the heart of Abingdon, close to the towns historic county HQ, which is now a museum.

Dating back to the late 12th century, associated with the abbey and its gatehouse, this church was intended for the use of lay servants and tenants of the abbey as well as its monks.

My favourite Church. There as a teenager, married there and both children christened there. Now in my 70's and still love it. 😊
