cute shop with strange, curious and funny things, particular, unfortunately not very affordable, quite expensive prices. The clerks are neuro, not too oppressive but they don't even welcome you with an in and out greeting. It is located in central London, within walking distance of the London Eye. It has two floors and has eco-sustainable and ecological objects.

Lots of arty items. Plenty of very cute jelly cat stuffed animals too. I think it’s a great place to buy unique gifts and something different for out of towners. I definitely would shop there again!

Random tat that looks great but in reality often has little use. This being said it’s a quirky way to spend 10 minutes or so, tourists truly love it. From inflatable unicorn pool floats to pineapple pencil cases. It’s fun not overly expensive (unless you buy the bags).

Some really unusual, beautiful pieces here - art, ceramics, jewellery, cards and gifts, plus plenty of items that reflect the current activities of the SBC. The prices are high but the stock is high quality and desirable too. The staff are quite helpful but the shop is often very busy, particularly on a weekend.

The photos of Beano and my clay model of the comic creation were organised in one of the South Bank buildings by Gromit.

It was a day of activities that took me back to my childhood days and what was superb about this event was - it was a free activity that really was a league of its own!!

South Bank has amazing free events all year round. The bookshop also has sales from time to time and there are some awesome gifts you can get especially around the festive season.

You can spent a day here where there are free performances in the Royal Festival Hall where there is a bar looking onto the performance 'stage' area.

It's by the Thames River where afterwards you can use your boat ticket which you purchase at a ticket office by the River to go cruise down the River Thames.

Further along is Charing Cross where there are a good number of cafes and eateries to choose from.
