What an amazing artists shop, so well stocked I was like a child in a sweet shop. I purchased a couple of 1/2 pan paints and was chatting to the owner about how I got into watercolour painting and how it was my birthday and the very kind Gentleman popped a daniel smith dot card in with my purchases 😊 I was extremely touched at this kind gesture, thank you again. I will definitely be back to purchase more items next time I'm back in Sidmouth.

Amazing shop with so much stock in a small space. Dan was very friendly and helpful. I love my new Unison pastels and I look forward to going back again. It is a nice feeling to be able to support small businesses who not only go out of their way to give advice but are also competitive on pricing.

The shop is the best stocked that I've ever seen it with a variety of artistic disciplines covered, and ranging from beginner to Pro level quality products. They have a wonderful selection.
They also informed me they now have an online shop and can order over the phone too. I will be taking advantage of this in future, though it's certainly worth a rummage in person if I'm ever I'm Sidmouth, or want an excuse to visit!

South West Art in Sidmouth is a total gem! Always seem to have what you want and for a small shop they stock virtually EVERYTHING an artist could need, and all the varieties of makes and brands. Their customer service is brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and my students in Sidmouth make a B-line for the shop when doing a workshop with me. What a great shop! I was spending a few days in Sidmouth so I ordered some items on the new website ready for pickup. Most items were ready and waiting for me to collect, the remaining items posted to me the following week. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the shop is situated in a lovely location. Looking forward to seeing you next year!
