I purchased the black Trendsetter bag shortly after Christmas. It looked great initially and I got a lot of complements. However, by April the handle material was separating (up and down both handles). When I contacted the company they said it was just normal wear and tear. I really liked the bag and the price point but I'm not going to purchase another bag from this company as I'm concerned it would begin to fall after a few months of use. Very disappointed!

Not sure if it's the store that is selling the Backpack lacking in inspection of the bags, or maybe they are taking returned items and instead of thoroughly inspecting the item they just tag it with a price and put it back on the shelf. I purchased a black quilted backpack from M.FREDRIC inside the hard rock hotel in Las Vegas, and the first bag , the zipper came completely off. took it back to the store I received and even exchange, I inspected the second bag before leaving, but failed to inspect the inside and now I have a $97.00 backpack that has a broken zipper inside.Yes, I should have checked the inside before leaving the store, but I didn't. Like I stated before I am not sure if it's the store that is lacking in inspection or if it is Sol and Selene that are not inspecting the materials they use to make the backpacks, I just think if you are paying over a certain amount of money for a product that you should get your moneys worth. A few days after I emailed the company, I received a response to my complaint and will be receiving a new bag.

I bought the backpack. In less than one year the zipper doesn't work, one of the straps broke and for $95.00 this should not happen
