I got really mixed feelings writing review about this bike shop because I got really mixed experience from time to time. A few times I received really professional, efficient and quick services to fix my bike, by one of the senior mechanics; but another a few times, mainly a relatively younger mechanic, simply was not interested in the job and was very impatient to deal with the problem and even straight out cut me off while I was describing the issue or trying to discuss with him, and eventually, I had to leave with lots of disappointment.

I do sincerely hope they can improve because I think the local community needs them and also they need the local community to thrive

I will take some time to respond:
It is the attitude that I received. I did not expect you or force you to work, and I listen patiently when you speak. But when I speak I was cut off multiple times, even before I can finish half of the sentence.
I have been a good customer and had my bike fixed. But even if you are speaking to a new customer, I’d expect the business to at least have the patience to hear the customer out.
What is the end of the story? I pushed my bike to the bike store on Upper Street, they listened to my situation, discussed with me that they are fully booked, and offered a few suggestions. Eventually I got a tire from them and followed their instructions and I changed the tire myself outside of their shop. A business that talks with the customer, not scolds the customer. That is what you need to do.

I sincerely hope you can improve and be a good service provider.

What can I say other than outstanding! I emailed Bobby to inquire about a wheel build and was promptly sent a quote as well as different options for wheel depth. Once we agreed on components the build took just over a week to complete. The quality and attention to detail on the wheels are second to none. They're comfortable, sturdy, and deadly silent and really tied my whole bike build together finally. They were very up front about pricing for all the extras I needed (valves, tyre fitting etc) and it was all extremely reasonable.

Definitely check these guys out for any wheel building needs or mechanic needs. Outstanding service, i will definitely be back sooner than later.

Very friendly and very quick.

Got a puncture fixed and new inner tube fitted in seconds. Slight mark up on other accessories but happy to support a local business like this

Asked for a replacement Shimano 105 and 105 chain and accepted quote. Only afterwards, when I questioned did they say they fitted Shimano Sora components.
Completely and utterly dishonest.
In response to your reply:
I should clarify this happened during lockdown. I was repeatedly told both on the phone and in person that you were quoting me replace 105 components.
It was only when the bike was returned to me was I told they were not 105.
The assistant actually said "It doesn't matter, you won't notice the difference."
I paid the price originally quoted.
I really needed the bike for daily use and hence didn't pursue the matter.
The cassette you replaced was purchased many years previously (2006 and the bike had only very occasional use for about 12 years).
Hence yes, the cassette was old at that point.
I placed this review because there are bike shops which don't treat customers like this.
