I went in after deciding to expand my creative pursuits to include oil painting on a complete whim. I asked what I’d need as a starter kit and the helpful staff showed me everything I’d need. They didn’t try to upsell me and were very helpful and seemed genuinely excited for me to begin my oil painting journey. Amazing experience. I will say that the prices are a bit more expensive than other places but it’s important to support smaller businesses over the giants, and the personal touch makes it worth it in my opinion 😁

Fantastic local arts and crafts store with very knowledgeable and friendly staff who have served me well for years. They now sell vallejo paints in addition to some other great acrylic brands like pebeo. Really looking forward to seeing the expanded acrylic range in future!

Such friendly and helpful staff. Nothing too much trouble, good knowledge and advice on their products. Very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. This is my daughter’s favourite shop, we have to visit it every time we are in Kingston!
