This is one of my fave soft play places. Very nice and spacious, well presented and lots of kids to play with up to the age of 10.
There's a good selection on the menu to choose from and the staff are helpful and friendly. At the moment they have lots of pretty Christmas decorations up and a few festive additions to their menu...mince pies etc.
My little girl loves going here. They also have the little tykes cars for them to play with.
The toilet facilities are very clean and modern too.

We visited play cafe for the first time during half term . The play is on the main road so parking can be a bit hectic but there is a carpark near by. Once we were inside we found it was a really great place. There is a section for older kids and younger kids. The toddler area is separate so they don’t get overwhelmed by the big kids. Our girls loved it they both enjoyed playing in the baby area. The play centre has good cafe with a wide range of food. The staff are incredible and very friendly, one of our girls got attached to a ball and the kind staff let her take it, very greatful for that thank you 😊
Overall well worth a visit wonderful place

Went here for the first time yesterday. I cannot praise the place enough. Absolutely brilliant.
Opens at 9:30, you can either buy just a play ticket, or they have various play and meal deals you can pay for. They have a good menu with a wide choice for children and adults.
The main bit is a massive soft play area, with slides, tunnels, rope bridges and everything else you expect but on a bigger scale. They have a separate section for under 2's with a ball pool, disco ball, and squidgy blocks. There is a section for 2 to 4 year olds, and a section with a town on the floor and trucks to drive on it.
There is a room in one side where a lady does a different craft each day the child can join in with my little one came home with a sunflower seed in a little pot he helped make. There are tables with puzzles and blocks, and a mini sofa with dolls.
The facilities are excellent, plenty of seating and toilets with baby change and steps/mini toilets for the little kids.

Go for yourself and see!

The Play Cafe in Torquay is a great place to bring your little one a rainy day. However, it has it's hang-ups. When I first started using these facilities the decor and toys were fresh and clean. Now they are looking old and dirty. Business owners please listen, if you can't VAX the carpet clean, replace it, if you feel dirty crawling across it, don't expect my child to. The fact is that PlayCafe is the only soft play area in Torquay, when a competitor moves in to Torquay things will have to change to keep this a viable business.
The ladies toilets could do with redecorating and broken sinks and taps should be replaced. The disabled facilities appear to be very good.
Now down to the crunch, it's expensive to use this Play Cafe at £10 for one adult and child, they are offering a year membership for £150 but I don't plan on taking my son here 15 times considering the condition of the place.
I gave it 3 stars because 1. it exists, where most have shut down.

I took my 7 month old for the first time and it was the first time going in a few years since taking my little sister. They have moved the baby area to a separate room which was good due to it being more private and separate from the older toddlers which is safer in my opinion. Although I was not happy with the cleanliness of the room at all. I was on time for the session which was the last one of the day 2.30 on a Thursday afternoon. The room was messy which is fine but it was also dirty filth all in the ball pit and on the floors. This meant they hadn’t tidied or even cleaned the area all day or at least since the last session as there was no one else using this area in the whole last session. The high chairs that were put away fresh for the new session (not yet been used in this session) were all also dirty and when I wiped one for baby to use dust was coming up on the wipe. When I went to change my baby close to the end of the session I noticed a bad rash all over my babies body so I will now have to book a doctors appointment if it doesn’t disappear I put this down to the cleanliness personally. I also asked for some cutlery for my 7 month old and was given an adult metal knife and fork. I asked for plastic cutlery and they said they didn’t have any even though it’s a place specifically for babies and toddlers! Not a big deal but They also don’t have any healthy food options really. Won’t be going again such a shame but don’t want to risk when they don’t clean in between sessions or even properly at the end/start of the day.

What a find!
Was looking for somewhere to spend a couple of hours and also somewhere to eat... this place took care of both requirements. And just £5.50 for child's entrance including decent kid's meal. Adult admission was free and only £5 ish for a meal.
Plenty of comfy seating and I was so impressed with the kiddie friendly toilet facilities that I took a photo!
Thanks for a very enjoyable visit 😁

We returned here for our Grandsons birthday party and was impressed by the improved hygiene standards, refreshed play ares, Christmas decorations and super freindly staff who helped with the food and party celebrations, Well done and thank you.
You could order food and drink and it is delivered to your table, toilet in the gents was blocked at the time of our visit.

First visit with the grandkids and daughter, small venue but the kids loved the soft play, coffee and snacks served. Not the cleanest play cafe I've been to and not too busy in term time, visited again with grandson for a birthday party in November, feels much cleaner, able to cope with a party of 20 plus kids, food was OK, coffee was good.
