Unfortunately I cannot give a zero star review. These are the rudest people in Otley! When I asked the lady excuse me, she turned and looked at me with disgust. No acknowledgment and continued to pack the shelf. The old man is equally as rude with no acknowledgment. No thank you etc when I went to buy the sadly warm drink that was supposedly in the fridge. I thought it was just a bad day for them, however recently went in again and had a similar encounter. Just AVOID at all costs!

I asked for help. The man couldn’t be bothered to come out from behind his counter but called out his answer as though I was an idiot. When I asked if he could show me he just came and pointed at the item. ( which was not what I asked for )
What a rude man, he obviously didn’t attend the customer service course!
I won’t return.
If I could score zero I would.

I'd like to comment on the entry of 2 weeks ago, by HM.

I don't recognize the staff at Mounsey's from that negative description, having always found them all to be very efficient and friendly over many years. I go in every week and will continue to do so very happily!

If you say that you are open until 5pm don't lock the doors early, or adjust your online hours to avoid disappointment. I came into town in the rain solely to come to this shop. You can imagine how annoyed I was to find a locked door and a women shrugging behind it.

Great range of magazines and periodicals, including hobby magazines. Lots of greetings cards, and stationary. Books about the local area, maps and items of interest to visitors and tourists. Local butchers nearby are also recommended.
