Could be so much better. The whole store is laid out weird. I went to get some suit trousers, they couldn't be further from the changing room! You have to walk through the home department to get there! It's very annoying if you want to try a few different things on. There also is an absence of pricing on a lot of things and apparently no real system for where things should be. I found the same trousers in three locations and none of them were my size! Most of them didn't have hanger size markers, so I had to find the labels on them all, one by one. I know it's not exactly Harrods, but what a horrible place to shop! Could be easily sorted.

Matalan has started to evolve into the next level of quality products with a store layout that looks similar to Next. I have bought apparel from here and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality. This store sells homewards and has a Christmas shop as well as clothing and is well staffed. Huge car park shared with Halfords and is free to park, Costa coffee is a five min walk away.

Very poor for wheelchair access in this store, was attempting to buy some new shoes for my partner who is in a wheelchair and basically no room to manoeuvre at all, neither anywhere else in the store. They need to make it a little more wheelchair friendly around the store.👎

Everything in there you might need for quick and easy shopping.
BE WARNED: Do NOT be tempted to wander across the road to shop in Boots, Next etc. The spy cameras will get you and add £60 to your shopping bill!
