Excellent repaired 2 of my jackets. A cigarette burn hole & damaged drawstring cord.

Extremely pleased with the repairs couldn’t have asked for a better job to be done, as seen by the pictures you can hardly notice where the initial damage was.

Really lovely shop packed full of crafting supplies. They have lots of things that you won't find in chain crafting shops, including an exceptionally fun collection of buttons! Well worth visiting when you're in the area 🙂

Lovely little shop! I'm not a sewing expert or a knitter but this place does everything. I'm learning from these reviews that they also do alterations and repairs.
I will never forget their fabulous hand-stitched facemasks sold during Covid. We used to always spot other people in the high road wearing a Sew & Sews mask 😊
Now that masks aren't so common, I reckon there would be a market for dog neckerchiefs - and matching ones for owners!

I can't praise this shop enough. I had a couple of tapestries my late Mum left me and I asked if they could be made into cushions. The finished products were beautifully done and now I have 2 beautiful cushions to remember my Mum daily. I also had a tapestry I finished made into a cushion. This is such a great little haberdashers on the high street. Threads, buttons, ribbons, beads, knitting, fabrics.... You can pretty much find most of your haberdashery needs here, and at very reasonable prices. The owners (and resident dog) are great - it's a delight to shop there.

I love this shop. I travel from another town to go here and buy supplies for knitting, crochet, sewing and needlecraft. Amy is so helpful and i never come away without what i need and usually with something i didn't know i needed until i saw it. Great service and great shop.

A wonderful place come here for my wife sewing but more recently. Had a leather sofa that the seats had cracked and was thinking I had to get new. But brought it in here and had it repaired within two days. Very helpful great service wonderful shop
