I had not heard of Lathams, but it appears some people have (like the wife)... On my first visit (to get general groceries) I didn't think it was particularly cheap - but on my second visit, the rest of the store is a bit like a discount store on all sorts of things, clothing, homeware, gardening etc etc. I guess depending on what time you visit and how busy it has been that day sort of decides how tidy looking it is.

Plenty of parking just outside (to the left) and loads of spaces also opposite (on other side of road).

It was a one-stop shop for all your Christmas shopping. From wrapping paper cutters to Christmas lights and freshly cut Christmas trees and decorations Lathams had it all. I had such a lovely time shopping for gifts!
They stock almost everything. I was able to buy so many different things from clothes to kitchen items to food and drinks.
My Christmas shopping has not been this easy ever!!!!
I can't wait to go back!

A shop with pretty much everything you could need. So many different items, it has a tremendous range of goods. Very friendly and helpful staff, easy to see why this is such a popular shop. Huge car park opposite. Very large Christmas lights section.

Cafe way too expensive, lots of variety, something for everyone! Staff friendly. Expensive to see Santa and book in advance. Plenty of parking and some good bargains but be careful, it’s mounts up very quickly.. can soon spend a lot of money very fast…

Lovely setting to shop, well laid out store stocking almost every item needed in the home & garden. Many bargains to be had all year. Good parking can get busy in high season.

Plenty of parking both sides of the road with good disability access parking too

Great little place to go for a shop or drop in to the cafe to get some breakfast the family myself always pop in every time we pass

We had a meal at the restaurant at lathams, very disappointing, my friend had roast beef, the stuffing ball was like a rock the Yorkshire pudding was Luke warm, not worth the money, I had to asked if they could do a vegetarian roast, I got veggie sausages a rock hard stuffing ball vegetables Luke warm. My husband had scampi chips and beans ok very small portion. Would we eat there again. No!
