If I overheard correctly from the staff, this is the actual Knight Bus used for filming, and it should be able to drive—or at least it used to. Before seeing the bus, you can watch a preview of how they filmed the interior scenes from the movies. I had read that you could get inside it, but when we visited, that wasn’t an option. No one was going inside or standing in line for it.

Ah yes, if only the Knight Bus was just a little late, like most buses around that time period in real life around the southeast of England, Mr Potter perhaps would have met Sirius Black much sooner and saved all that mystery surrounding him...

On a slightly lighter note, it was pretty funny seeing this, the scale of it and its innards...
