The vibe and concept is awesome. But beware of which stylist they give you. I have had three cuts at Jackson Maximus. The first stylist was great. The second ok. But the third was on autopilot and gave me a buzz cut that has no resemblance to the photo I showed him.

I moved to Miami a couple of years ago from the New York area. My stylist there was amazingly skilled. She used a straight razor, never even scissors let alone electric razors. Here in Miami I have trouble finding a stylist that will at least take the time to pull out scissors. At Jaxson Maximus, I wanted to stop the stylist when he started taming his buzzer into the side of my head but within seconds I realized it was too late.

My advice: go in for a trim. Maybe a few. Find a stylist that actually cares and knows what they are doing. Then return to that stylist every time, whether they are still at Jason Maximus or somewhere else. The salon offers a great vibe, whisky, a pool table, and comfortable seating. But underperforms on what really matters: curating good stylists.

Jaxson Maximus is one of if not the best men’s barbershop in Miami. Christian the owner along with Tiffany the manager and their entire tale talented team are why I keep coming back and have been a member for years. They also do tailoring and bespoke suits as well which I have a few and the tailoring is impeccable. Definitely a must try!

Jaxson Maximus is hands down the best barbershop in Miami and the best I’ve ever experienced! I became a member when I first moved to Miami four years ago, and I’m still a loyal member. Their yearly membership comes with fantastic perks, and the services they offer are top-notch, from custom clothing and facials to nails and haircuts, literally truly a one-stop destination.

The owner and the manager, Tiffany, have been incredible to me and my partner ever since I joined. They always go above and beyond to ensure we’re taken care of and make us feel like valued clients. Jaxson Maximus provides an exceptional experience every time! They’re are like a family to me.

I was on the hunt for a wedding suit, and someone recommended this place to me. After checking every other shop in the area for a specific color and a tight deadline, I finally walked through the doors of Jaxson Maximus. I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff and the CEO/Founder Christian, who was incredibly welcoming and excited to show me around. He took me into one of the tailoring rooms, where he showed me different materials and walked me through the process. The entire experience was relaxed and comforting. Christian's enthusiasm for his work and commitment to helping me was refreshing, something you don’t often see in other stores.

Fast forward to my custom-made, custom-colored suit being ready for pickup. Not only did they meet the deadline, but they actually finished it ahead of schedule. When I tried it on, I was thrilled, everything fit perfectly, with amazing attention to detail. The level of care I received as a customer was top-notch, and I felt like a VIP. I highly recommend this place, and I’m excited to try out their custom jeans and other services. A huge thanks to the entire team for making my dream come true and giving me one of the best suits I’ve ever owned!

We booked a last-minute appt for a beard trim for my husband. Ray was wonderful, did a great job, and was even able to get us in early! The staff was friendly and showed us around the shop. Would go back and would recommend!

Stopped in in the recommendations of some local friends. Was met promptly by staff and welcomed with a drink. My barber was Daniel and he did an excellent job and really showed the difference in skill and care from my local shop. Will definitely be a repeat customer everytime I visit Miami. They also do onsite custom fitting for suits etc and I’ve seen their work at a wedding and was thoroughly impressed. Thanks so much

I took my son for a father-son experience before his wedding, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing visit. The hot towel shave treatment was mishandled, and my son had to go back to fix the back of his head. Even after that, he still had to make adjustments at home. I had to clean my own nose hairs and fix my own face and head shave. To top it off, our specialist smelled strongly of marijuana and seemed unprofessional. Overall, it was a terrible service and a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this place.

If I could give Alex more than 5 stars then I would. He is incredibly detail oriented and takes his work personally. I met with him for 10 minutes and immediately trusted his opinion on everything. Per the pictures provided, I hope you can see his eye to detail. For those that cannot, please go meet with him. The quality is incredible, service is equal and the price is right. I never write reviews, but this was over the top deserved. For those that don’t realize what a detailed eye and passion for their craft can do to you wardrobe, reach out to Alex asap!
