I love this place, weather you are a crocheter a knitter, like tufting or punching needle literally any fiber art related hobbies they got you. There is a wide selection of yarns ranging from different price levels, they have all the tools.

Also if you were a painter they have got you covered.

I also believe they sell sewing machines and they also have classes that you are able to book online and attend they are very reasonably priced.

They also have online shop so you can check the stitch before going and they offer student discount. So over all i really recommend, definitely going back

I went to Hobbycraft for a specific item it marketed online and had not been there before. I was impressed by the plethora of hobbies you could buy things for, some of which I didn't know existed.
Whilst they didn't seem to have much staff, the one that dealt with me was warm, knowledgeable and helpful. I may go back to see what hobbies I might take up after I retire.
And they had the item I was after!

Went in looking for something to help making sea shell wind charms. Found some perfect bamboo rods and some glitter wire to tie it all together. Will come back again when I have other projects as they have all sorts of products from wool to airplane kits and everything in-between

The staff were so helpful in helping me find the items that I wanted and helped me to get the best deals in their sale. I couldn’t fault the two women that were there; they were friendly, approachable and seemed genuinely happy to help.
One of the women went across the shop floor to see if she could find what I needed at the cheaper price while the other lady rang up my other items. A couple of minutes later she arrived back with the reduced items saving me around 50%. As I am buying on behalf of a charity this is a huge deal for us and I am really grateful.
While I can’t recall the staff members names, I came in at 9:15am on Monday 14/10/24 looking for white air dry clay for our Brownies group. Please extend our thanks from 1st Mortimer Brownies 🦉 🍄

Really lovely Hobbycraft and so much sewing/embroidery bits and pieces! I stupidly went in on a very warm day and the upstairs was unbearably hot - fair play to those that work in there! Got everything I needed though (and spent too much!)

Huge hobbycraft store in Forbury retail Park, Reading. Loads of free parking available. Store built on two floors, each floor packed with hobby and craft materials. Upstairs has wool, knitting etc. They also have a large model making section and loads of paper crafts, painting etc
