Went there and bought some double stitch wool, plenty to choose from. Wool upstairs. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of other hobbies and craft items to purchase, love the paints section.

Not a great experience, travelling quiet a distance to purchase the items that I needed. There were no staff around the store, only 2 on the tills, they were extremely busy, I couldn't find the location of the items that I needed, went upstairs still no staff, went back downstairs, and asked another customer where the item was located, she showed me where they were, I needed another item beside my main items so went back upstairs, to be told that they didn't sell my item, this member of staff had come upstairs from working on the till downstairs, to help another customer, get your act in order Hobby Craft, it's not a way to run a business, that could have taken a lot ore money in the tills had there been more staff at this busy time of the year.😫

Staff are lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. Shop is clean, tidy and well stocked. Lots of kid friendly crafts in one (very large) section. Prices are generally reasonable and comparable to online retailers.

Would suggest better signposting to disability access - there is a lift to the upper floor but it is located at the back of the store and judging by the difficulty some have climbing the stairs, I'd guess they don't know that. A simple sign would fix the issue.

Me and my daughter love this place. You will find anything and everything for the craft and your hobbies, it is nice to be able to touch and see closer things and prices is still good compare with the online. You will get discount cart and welcome present 🎁 on your first shopping if you sign up for the discounted cart. 😊.( very generous present i have to say)

Nice staff, big store. Too much children's stuff at this time of year. I bought cheap little sunbathers for grandchildren to paint. When we got home we couldn't do it as all the paint had dried up so it didn't flow, one pot was set solid
