This gallery always used to be a must visit for me whenever I was in Northumberland. Sadly though I have to agree with a post someone submitted re the lack of ceramics etc. I have bought some lovely quirky pieces over the years as well as a number of framed prints. The closure of the back room & limited opening times etc has been such a shame. Sorry, but it's just not the same.

Having visited this gallery many times over the years, disappointed to find it has really scaled back on the variety of items for sale. The back room is closed and most of the shelving from middle room gone. Mostly selling paintings and jewellery now. Very little ceramic work, no wooden or glass items. What a shame.

Snooty assistant who rolled eyes and commented under her breath when my 10yr old son happened to touch a woollen scarf. Due to her ill manners, she managed to do herself and the shop out of a purchase of earrings my wife had seen. If you don’t want people to touch things put them behind glass or simply comment politely.
