A treasure trove filled with so much! I have been in a couple of times whilst on holiday, once because I forgot my hat and the other because I forgot my sunglasses! The ladies that served me both times were very helpful and friendly

Just been in and had one of the worst gift shop experiences ever. I was browsing the beach section with my friends and a worker (presumably the owner) came up to us and intimidated me and my friends by staring at us, mocking us for shopping for children’s toys, insinuating that we were there for malicious purposes and not with the actual kind-hearted intention of supporting a local business and purchasing a football… we did not buy the football. A customer lost and overall terrible ownership, I shall not be returning. Visit if you want to be abused and profiled.

I purchased a gemstone bracelet with my 8 year old granddaughters name on it on Sunday, 7th July. She was absolutely delighted with it but the bracelet broke within hours, she was extremely upset.
It wasn't expensive but I would have expected it to last longer than a few hours. Very disappointing.

This place was recommended to buy a hat before we went on our trip to the Farne Islands (help protect from Arctic Turn attacks 🙂 ). Reasonable range and prices, friendly staff.

I'm pretty sure this shop is some kind of infinite labyrinth disguised as a gift shop

The man who owned the shop made comments about how short my shorts were and how id "forgotten to dress my bottom half" and the rest of the staff stood and laughed. All in all it made me incredibly uncomfortable. The whole situation was rather creepy.

Oh dear. I came here with my grandsons to buy sweeties for them to take home. I noticed a sign on the door saying that children must be accompanied by an adult (fair enough) as we went in. I had hardly gone two paces into the shop when someone called me to say that food wasn't allowed and to take it outside. I was a bit bewildered until I realised that the gentleman was referring to the closed pack containing the remains of our takeaway fish lunch which we were taking home for the kitten. Apparently I had missed another sign on the door saying that food and drink were not permitted in the shop. Faced with the dilemma of being sent outside and leaving unaccompanied children in the shop, or leaving the food pack with the gentleman berating me and retrieving the grandchildren, or taking the pack WITH me and retrieving the grandchildren, I chose the latter course of action. I almost felt as though I was in one of those surreal scenes from League of Gentlemen.. in a local shop for local people. We won't be back.
