This shop is an amazing place to visit.
It’s tiny, but absolutely chock full of all manner of creative ideas: wool, buttons, ribbons, scissors, crotchet hooks, knitting patterns, craft kits… the list is endless!
I‘ve been popping into this shop for many years -it’s like being a child in a sweet shop-there are so many wonderful things and I want them all!
I also appreciate that there is no hard sell-I was making enquiries about tatting materials but in the end, changed my mind. No problem!
If you are looking for specific haberdashery, if you are looking for a craft kit or simply need a knitting pattern, this really is the best place in York to find what you need.

Great selection of all things buttons, yarn and craft. We bought some yarn from here and it was quite cheap for the sizes we got.
