The team at Custom Distributors wows me AND my clients every time! I've had the pleasure of working with them both as a designer for a GC and as a customer for our own kitchen, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

As a designer, I love that they can read floorplans, make thoughtful suggestions, and troubleshoot to avoid installation headaches and long-term maintenance woes for our subcontractors and clients. No one wants a call back for an avoidable issue, and CD has a wonderful process to ensure all T's are crossed and I's dotted. Our subcontractors love the technical information available - which often comes directly from the manufacturer representative, whom CD has close relationships with. I never feel that I need to join the Showroom Meetings with clients, though I sometimes will for guidance from an architectural or budgetary standpoint. The Sales Team takes their time with each client, even the more fiery ones, and offers a level of hospitality you don't often see in this industry. They are constantly hosting informational tours and seminars for professionals, with special guests that respond to questions across a myriad of topics and brands.

Speaking of BRANDS... They carry so many brands that are under-represented, from builder-grade to absolute luxury. The team is so knowledgeable on the benefits of each brand, each line, each piece they offer, which goes well beyond their massive showroom's curated collection. Oh, and they have gorgeous Cambria countertops throughout each of their stunning vignettes.

As consumers, my husband and I were so happy to find the unique pieces we wanted for our cozy (read: very small) kitchen renovation. We did not make it easy, but somehow CD found the perfect items for this demanding client (it's me) and continues to be our source for routine maintenance items like fridge filters.

I can't imagine going anywhere else for appliances, large or small, because of the expert advice, quality products, and phenomenal service synonymous with Custom Distributors!

*7/28/2023 UPDATE *
Today we had installers come out and attempted to make our hood above the stovetop complete. We had a successful install! After communication with Kenny Jr over the last several months, I am happy to say, they have made everything right with our issues. I want to thank them for making things right

I had ordered our appliances well longer than 12 months ago with 50% deposit. A month before delivery was to take place, I was told by Chad we cannot get the Bosch dishwasher we ordered, they were not in production. Chad let me know he told our sales person Dave a month earlier who never reached out to me. I picked out a different one with different aesthetics than I wanted because options were limited. OK got over that hump, Then TWO days before delivery (5 days before Christmas) was told they cannot find our Bosch cooktop, ordered 12+ months prior, that they ensured me in November with the dishwasher issue, all other appliances were in the warehouse. They could not find it. The communication was horrible. They did not offer me a loaner or even to purchase hot plates for me. I had to figure it out. They found a floor model with scratches and gave me a discount. Fine. But now we are at the hood cover, which was bent on original instal in December, when they came out to install the cooktop there again was an issue with the cover. We received two boxes with the hood cover last week and are telling me mid February before they will install and blamed manufacturer. To have to wait two months to get this fixed and another 3 weeks from now where we had to push off a housewarming party two months with very little to no communication from the company is ridiculous. We should be moved up on the hood/vent install as it was a custom distributor issue. Worst communication from a higher end appliance store. Wont return calls or emails for a week or more even when reaching out to additional staff

I bought GE Monogram double ovens, refrigerator, and stove top and had a hard time moving stationary rack. I called the Custom Dist and the GM came out to help me personally, after phone call did not help. She was wonderful and a real asset to the company. I will continue to send everybody there for excellent customer service and appliances.

Where do I even begin? I have never written a review, but I just had to for this horrific experience. I have a rental property business and my contractor recommended this place to me since I had issues with Lowe’s delivery, so I decided to give them a shot.

Everything was perfect in the beginning. I spoke with a sales person 8/3 on the phone stipulating I needed a 24in vented (this is important) washer and dryer. I was told it would be approximately a week or so until the units get to the warehouse which was totally fine. They charged my credit card and all was seemingly fine. A few days pass and they have the washer, but not the dryer. My tenant could not do laundry for a few weeks up to this point, so I just sent a few emails for an update. After a bit, I get an email saying they have a different unit currently in stock and I just asked if there is a price difference that is when I was totally ghosted.

My original sales person just completely stopped responding to emails or voicemails on her phone. I could only get a hold of anyone by calling their operator and being transferred over. Now an account manager was handling my order and I thought maybe this would help. Not at all. She told me she would send me an email with her phone number and information (which she never did) and I still had to get in contact via the operator.

After a while they tell me they need to get the dryer from LG themselves, so
I had to wait until 9/10 for it to arrive, and scheduled an 9/12 for delivery and install. Over a month after I have paid them. I said well can’t do much so let’s just wait. (Turns out the unit arrived on the 7th, but no one bothered to let me know so I could’ve potentially got it to my tenant sooner, but they clearly did not care.)

Finally delivery day comes and I get a text saying they’ll be there at 8:58AM. I hustle over to my tenants spot, but they have a gps tracker and the delivery team is at a McDonald’s drive thru about half hour away at 9am. An hour later they arrive and install and guess what? It’s a ventless dryer. My original convo with the first sales person was I needed a vented dryer and we had a 20 min convo about it so I thought what I was buying was vented. The main delivery guy just shrugged and while I was signing the paperwork he was literally vaping massive clouds directly in my face.

I get a hold of the account manager again and she just says “oh no” when I told them it was ventless. I threatened to come into the office to speak to a manager to get my point across and that’s when she finally gave me her email and phone number. She then asks if my tenant can do a load and to ask if it’s too long for her, which most likely would’ve voided a potential return because it was used. I eventually just told her I needed some money back. They agreed to waive the install fee (only $212 of a $2200 sale). They forward it off to billing saying I needed this refund but guess what? Billing girl is out of office until Monday. In my head I said that’s fine ppl take vacation she’ll get back to me. Never heard anything.

It is now 9/27. I email her this morning asking where the funds are and she responds quicker than anyone else saying oh it seems like this fell thru the cracks. I just said like my entire experience here. I still have 2-3 biz days to get my measly 200 bucks back.

I would not wish my terrible experience with Custom Distributors on my worst enemy. This place gives me someone’s grandpa started the company and they just hire all their inept family members. They all point fingers at each other and no accountability is taken.

Run far and fast and never give them your money. I have saved all emails and receipts so do not even try and dispute this.

Thanks for reading.

Never again will I work with this company and highly recommend you do not either! I have had to send so many emails for updates on my equipment. No joke 5 emails with multiple mangers and salespeople on Cc with no reply. Not one! It’s always with the excuses and we’re sorry. Today I was told that for my replacement wine column they needed to move my delivery window. I said no I could not adjust due to my schedule of which I made this appt weeks in advance. When I said no, they replied well sorry it’s not going to be your original time. Why even ask if this is what’s going on?

We had a wonderful experience working with Custom Distributors’s on purchasing our new appliances. Their prices are comparable with the “big box” stores, BUT here you actually get Customer Service and people who know their products.

We initially work with Mike who was very efficient and knowledgeable about the products. He sent us quotes on everything we were interested in purchasing. When we were ready to buy he was out of the store so we worked with Ginger, the General Manager. She was extremely knowledgeable and efficient, from the purchase to the delivery. She helped me with every detail. The delivery guy were outstanding.
They were friendly, cleaned up everything, and knew exactly what do with the installation, and how to use the products we purchased.

We will definitely be back to purchase appliances in the future. We would not go anywhere else!
