She did an incredible job on my wedding dress, even during the rush of prom season. It looks so much better than it did before and fits me perfectly. She also did a bridesmaid dress for me a few years back. Highly recommend and I’ll be back.

I had to attend an event under dressed. No, the world did not come crashing down around me... but I did purchase an expensive pair of paints and paid a premium price to have them custom altered to fit my extra long legs. I gave Custom alterations a week to get this done and because of a failure to effectively communicate, I ended up attending the wedding and I was the only person not dressed appropriately. Why did this happen? The website lists incorrect hours of operation. (see picture). AND - I didn't see the piece of printer paper taped to the door that said open Monday - Thursday. When I went to pick up my suit pants on Friday morning, before I flew out of town, for the wedding, they were closed. I called and left a message and asked them if I could pay someone to over and hand off my prepaid order. I told them that I had 9 hours before my flight on the message. (No response)

The reason that I actually took the time to write the review: I explained to the owner that it would be helpful if she informed/reminded customers who have an order ready for pick up on Thursday, that they "remember the store is closed Friday through Sunday, the website is incorrect." She needed me to understand that I should have looked at the sign on the door or the bottom of my receipt. Verbalizing the store hours is not needed on her part. What was apparent, is that I was the only one who needed to be accountable for the misunderstanding. My suggestions/advice was neither welcome or needed.

So if you are in need of actually wearing the item you pay to have custom altered, be a lot more observant than I was, and do not believe what you read on their "digital location" where it CLEARLY STATES THEY ARE OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK. I prefer to support businesses that communicate well and make every effort, within reason, to accommodate the customer. If you feel the same, find a different custom alteration shop who will make sure you look your best.

I needed a shirt hemmed for the next day. They were able to get it done. Always excellent work for a fair price. I've been coming here with various alterations for 15 years. Would highly recommend!

So helpful! Had a bad experience with another tailor that didn't take my dress in enough so was in a rush. She agreed to complete in just a day and a half so I could catch my flight and not have my dress falling down in my friend's wedding. Tried on and looks great and I feel so much more secure. I needed a zipper repair on my winter coat and she worked with it for a bit with a goal of not replacing the whole zipper because at that point, you might as well get a new coat. But she fixed it no problem and for a great price too. I don't have the need for alterations often but I would definitely come back next time I do!

I have been going here for years and she always does a great job. Have never had to take anything back and she tells me when an alteration I am requesting won't work or is going to cost too much. She is a true professional. And honestly, one of the nicest, kind-hearted people I know.

The owner was incredibly friendly and kind when I had a dress that needed hemmed on short notice. She did a wonderful job, and the price was incredibly fair! I would definitely recommend and visit again!

I've been here a few times, the seamtress can sew & helm, but she very unecessary RUDE! She plays gospel music leading you to believe she going to be nice, but she is one of the rudiest people in Hilliard! Dont say i didnt warn you! BTW Ive seen be rude to customers ahead of me all three times Ive been there.
