Big thank you to Imogen for helping me get the perfect down jacket. I had an idea what I wanted and it was searched for in stock and my preferred size. You had the exact colouring I wanted. I was given other options in the sale but came back to the first choice. Imogen expertly explained how to keep my down jacket in great condition and what not to do when it comes to rain. You can't get that kind of service online. Thank you very much.

Brilliant experience. I was helped by Mark and Sam today, who were extremely helpful in finding a jacket the right size and assisting in using a blue light discount. Love my new jacket, I will certainly come back the next time I’m in Skipton. If only every clothing store had staff this attentive, 5 stars.

A good selection of Men and Women's outdoor equipment and accessories. Plenty of room inside and pleasantly laid out. A seating area for trying footwear on at the end of the store. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble. There is a good selection of top brand gear and some tents are here although only one is on display and erected. There are many outdoor shops in Skipton , I would recommend visiting this one as it ticks all the boxes.

I have just had the most professional and informative sales experience at Cotswold Outdoor Skipton. I would like to acknowledge Sophie; her product knowledge was exceptional and her tailoring of hiking boots to both foot shape and intended use was fabulous. I am an outdoor professional and have been through many boots (and other equipment) over the course of my career and Sophie was honestly the most knowledgeable and personable sales person I have met in a long time. Sophie, thank you, now I'm ready for my next trek.

We went on Sunday 3 March to look for walking boots for my husband.! The staff were delightful nothing was too much trouble even though they were very busy!
They measured his feet and tried every option!. However, they had to order his size! Truly the best service we have experienced for a long time!

The lady who looked after me this morning was fantastic. I tried a few pairs of walking boots which didn't really fit so she measured my feet. Turns out I have a wide foot and heal and a high instep. She knew immediately which make would fit the best and found the perfect pair. I will definitely be going back.

I bought a new Berghaus waterproof jacket from the Skipton store today. The assistant Imi was extremely helpful and professional and obviously well trained. The store was tidy and clean and had an extremely great range of walking and outdoor activities clothing and accessories.

Outstanding choice !!
Highly recommend, staff always very helpful! Branch manager has a great team & is very knowledgeable, it's light & Airy as a shop with plenty of room to try jackets on lots of space in the isle's. Best selection of big & boutique /Nich brands, within a very large Area. If your after Top quality & very good service, look no further!!!
