Usually ok here but visited today and scanned my loyalty card a few times as wasn't sure it had taken it so I asked the assistant Debbie if it had taken it and she sarcastically replied yes I've got it 5 times !

Nice 1970s customer service, well done Debbie ! Will be onto customer services .

Ordered an Amazon package, only to be told it had been lost and i would be called if it was found, I never received a call. Other customers' packages were tossed around carelessly whilst mine was being looked for. Absolutely useless, don't order anything here, it'll just waste your time.

The girls really could do with a refresher course in customer service. Faces down to the floor, not a single smile or good morning or ANY type of greeting/conversation. Great way to start the day. Clearly none of them want to be there, I only went in to drop off a parcel and that seemed to be too much trouble. Shame

Great little shop perfect for quick trip. They usually have everything you need. They have good bargains and some things you can find cheaper elsewhere but it's a good range. They stock fresh bread, fruit and veg, chilled and frozen goods plus booze, cakes, hygiene products and all the food cupboard staples. Staff are friendly and if it's busy they always try to get extra staff out.

Quite a sizeable store. Well stocked and very friendly staff. It's well laid out, so easy to find any purchases you may need.
Car park at the rear with a two hour stay time.

A fantastic shop with helpful staff, but good luck to you if you ever take a parcel to the Hermes drop off service and get served by Debbie. As a shop owner up the street, I visit the Co-op every single morning to drop off my parcels using their drop off service. The staff are nothing but kind, chatty and helpful, unless of course you are unfortunate enough to be served by Debbie.

I walked in today with 4 metre long parcels that I could only just see over as they were stacked in my arms so high. (In hindsight - make two trips!) In an effort to not be an inconvenience, I stood out of everybody's way while I waited in the corner beside the counter for the queue to quieten down. Once the customer that was been served had left, I very politely sneaked up and asked Debbie "would you please mind taking these parcels off me before I drop them?" This was hardly an unreasonable request considering that anybody with a pair of eyes could visibly see I was struggling and had already dropped 2 on the way in. Having done this every day for over a year now, the shop assistants will always take them off my hands and put them behind the counter where they need to be and i just queue afterwards to have them scanned in. The response i got today was rude and blatantly nasty and in short - a no. I tried to explain that I wasn't queue jumping or asking for them to be scanned, I literally just needed to put them down because I couldn't see over or hold them any longer! As per Debbie style, i was pointed and eyerolled at to get lost while I stood there with these four huge parcels in my hands. Thanks for the help Debs. After politely asking her again (despite my inner self been tempted to lob one of the parcels at her head), I was shouted at and told NO in no uncertain terms. From the over-dramatic reaction, bystanders must have thought I was asking her to donate me one of her feet.

I honestly have no idea why this woman chose to work in retail. She clearly hates the general population of people, doesn't have a single helpful bone in her body and will literally argue with you and point at you to get lost. 10/10 for customer service skills Debs, you've excelled yourself once again.

I know just what time to visit to get the orange sticker discounted items for that day, but I'm not sharing that info! Always a good range of stuff, helpful and friendly staff, open til late, and you can allocate your loyalty points to local charities (choose the Neighbourhood Elders Team!)
