not impressed with the variety offered. just wanted to get a healthy snack however not too many options. quite expensive. no free parking. not coming back to this shop. I am lucky to only be visiting the area.

Sad to see the comments about staff being rude as a customer of over 20 years have never experienced this.
The store is clean and tidy. The staff I find really helpful and knowledgeable.
Now as it's the main place to shop in chudleigh the prices are cheaper than other co ops which I find slightly odd. There own merlot chudleigh is 5.50 where as the co op in Exeter near the quay is 6.50.

Chudleigh co op is a really good asset to have and let's be grateful we have it.

I recently visited the coop and unfortunately had a negative encounter with one of the staff members. I was taken aback by the rude and demanding behaviour of the woman who served me. Her demeanour was unnecessarily judgmental, especially considering the circumstances.
My daughter had a drink called Prime, and while she was only assisting me in placing it on the counter, the worker became visibly upset. Instead of offering assistance or understanding, she responded with anger and impatience. This not only made me feel uncomfortable, but also left a lasting negative impression of the coop.
As a customer, I believe it's essential to receive respectful and considerate service, regardless of the situation. I hope that the coop management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue with the staff member in question. Improving customer service should be a priority to ensure a positive experience for everyone who visits the coop.
I would like to emphasize that this incident does not reflect the overall experience I have had at the coop in the past. I have generally found the coop to be a welcoming and friendly place, which is why this particular encounter was so surprising and disappointing.
Likewise, I hope my feedback helps the coop management to improve their service and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and courtesy in the future.

Staff Were really rude ! and watched them refuse to give I think alcohol or something to woman who was with her child because her child did not have id. Let’s just say the “kid” looked like he could have a house and they said they were on holiday from the midlands. Who bring there’s id to the beach ?

I’ve used this Co-op a lot over the years since about 2004, and it’s definitely better these days. It’s actually quite a decent sized store with most things available.
Parking can be a bit of an issue though, there’s a delivery bay out the front and the main Chudleigh car park which you have to pay for, plus there used to be a co-op specific car park right around the back with a time limit on, check if it’s still there first though.

Called up to see if they had any size 3 nappies in for my baby , whole house poorly and don't want to drag 2 little ones around town if they no one has any. They were really polite , checked while I was on the phone and meant I could go straight there , no messing about and straight home. Happy days , made my day alot easier thank you chudleigh co op
