Lovely places with stunning views of the Teign estuary. Huge free carpark. The layout is really nice and the staff love people bringing their pets in after a walk. There is a great walk from newton abbot along the estuary but only to be navigated when the tide is low as at high tide you might get caught out. There is a huge beer garden and lots of indoor seating that is nicely laid out. The lighting is ambient and well designed. There is dog biscuits and water bowl.

Today we took a very special friend who has been very poorly over the last couple of years for lunch.
We were served by Kelly who was very bubbly and helpful.
The food was lovely and my mushroom risotto was exceptional.
We had a lovely time and our friend was delighted to be with us all.
Thank you so much for making our lunch so special.
We will be back!!!

We held our wedding reception here and we are so glad we choose this venue. The staff went above and beyond on the day and in the lead up to the event. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was and the beautiful setting. The added bonus was the decor is already so nice that you don't need to go wild with adding anything extra. The perfect choice for our laid back but lively after party. Thank you Coombe Cellars!

In winter time they light the log fires and it's so cosy to sit by with a drink in the bar or meal in the restaurant. Great food and service, wise to book a table if you are going to eat. Plenty of free parking.

Really cozy, comfortable pub, stylish ambiance with 2 fire places and plenty of space also for large groups. The service is ok but not excellent- we needed to remind a couple of time and you need to be patient. Good choice of drinks and excellent cocktails. The food was really good but some choices were not available already even if we were really early. All il all we had a wonderful evening. I do recommend but you need to book in advance. Ask your have a table near the window in order to enjoy the view. In summer you may sit outside.

A bit disappointing unfortunately. I ordered a pie . The filling was lovely, but the pastry top was hard and difficult to cut. My husbands meal had to go back as it was so bad. A shame as our starter was delicious. Also we had a bottle of red wine that was so cold we had to try and warm it up!!! Our server was very nice and helpful and tried well to sort out our issues.
