I heard about Luna and her friends from a customer, so I had to google what she was. I was instantly intrigued! I fell in love with Ottoline and had to make her! But I didn’t have any decent felt. I made her clothes first, and some of Luna’s clothes. The patterns are easy to follow. My friends want life size outfits for themselves! I will be making Luna next and can’t wait for the next book! The Jane Austen/Luna outfits are perfection!

CoolCrafting is an amazing shop and home of Luna Lapin and Friends. The bright and airy shop is the place to go to buy all of the supplies to make the felt characters and their clothing. It’s a veritable treasure trove - but expect to buy more than you’d bargained for! Everything is beautifully laid out. As well as the Luna section, there is a large wool room at the back and a wide variety of fabrics and patterns for dressmaking. Staff are super friendly and you might even get to see Sarah or Grace in person. They’ll always find time to chat. Workshops are run the room upstairs from time to time.
If you aren’t able to get to the store, the mail order service is second to none.

Coolcrafting is fabulous! I’ve bought the majority of kits online and have even ventured from Essex to The Lakes to visit the shop! Oh my days what a wonderful shop, the home of Luna and all her friends. These are some of my favourites. The creatures and their clothes are so well designed and the fabrics are always perfectly paired. If ever you’re in Kendal pay them a visit, or just visit Kendal just for the Coolcrafting shop 😊

Made a detour on our way to Scotland just to be able to see everything up close! Hadn't realised how big Bramble is, having only made Luna. Absolutely great service online and in store, such inspirational books too. The first book led me to make my first Luna and I've since made 2 more for charity fundraising events. Love the online community where we can assist each other and admire everyone else's talents!

I’m a relative newby to this rabbity world of stitched friends and have over a dozen made already. It’s a fabulous new world especially lovely with the challenge of making the gorgeous clothes that follow ‘adult size’ making techniques, I’m learning a lot. Fabulous shop! Wonderfully helpful staff both online and in person. The old store was lovely, but the new store is beautifully laid out and more spacious. They stock gorgeous fabrics and yarn and great clothes patterns from your less well known brands, a number of which have become firm favourites in my wardrobe.
It is also home to the lovely Luna Lapin rabbity hare and her fabulous friends. Gorgeous heirloom animals to make along with their beautiful clothes.
We always ensure we schedule a trip here when visiting our family in the area. Otherwise we use their reliable, efficient online service.
Been using them for years. Very highly recommended!

I 'happened upon' a Luna Lapin pattern book one day and flicked through it and fell in love with this charming felted rabbity hare. I made my 1st Luna and an outfit and was won over. I love the stories that accompany the characters. I wait in anticipation for the next release and am like a small child buzzing with excitement at Christmas opening up the Christmas Surprise. Coolcrafting is a small piece of paradise where dreams come true.
