The vibe was definitely off with the workers. You can feel the tension. I came in for a gift and asked for a purse in a box instead of the display. The lady came asked “what” I showed her the purse. She went to the back came out less than 5 seconds later and said no. When I checked out I asked if they had a box or gift wrapping. I paid extra just for a box. There just wasn’t any effort from the employees to help make my experience good as well as making the gift look nice. Kate spade has better customer service and they go above and beyond that is reasonable.

During my visit to Sacramento, I stopped by the Coach store but couldn't find what I was looking for. My friend suggested we check out the outlet, and I agreed. The salesperson there was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and helping me decide on a backpack. However, when I approached the cashier, the experience took a turn. The cashier was unexpectedly rude, insisting I get back in line despite my being in the correct spot. The person behind me even stepped forward to confirm this, but the cashier remained dismissive. I chose not to escalate the situation and asked him to proceed with my purchase, yet he reiterated his stance about the line.

Later, the store manager reached out to apologize, explaining that the cashier was only temporarily filling in and wouldn't be a regular employee at that location. Despite her apology, the encounter left me feeling disheartened, and I decided to return the backpack to a local store in my city. The incident made me feel singled out, possibly due to my Hispanic heritage, and I've resolved not to return to that store.

Don’t expect a greeting as you walk in, because you’ll get death stares. I’m not from the area and had driven 3 hours to get here so I walked in, got my purse and walked out. The cashier (Stephanie) lady ripped off the tag and threw it in my purse? Not sure what the purpose of that was, because I had no intention of returning it? Anyways the one star is for having my purse in stock.

Horrible experience! Walked in and the front door associates just looked at me from head to toe im guessing to see if I looked like if I had money to shop there. Went to the mens section and there was another associtaes just looking at me like if I was going to steal something (im brown skin). Associates just go up to you and bug you if they see you well dressed or think you can afford to buy from there and if not they just ignore you and dont even greet you or help you and just stare at you like if your going to steal. Corporate or the owner of coach should have some sort of class/classes that teach how to greet and treat customers and not judge or assume things because of what kind of clothes people wear when they go shop there or the COLOR of the skin im “brown”
