These lot trying scam you. Last year I went in Accrington store with Microsoft Surface 14.4 laptop cost me 3k from currys only few months old no damaged and Apple laptop cost me 2.5k only 1 year old and 160 grams gold 9ct and 22 ct gold coin and omega james bond watch cost me 3.4k. They offered me 3.8k all lot they was insulting me with that low prices I have to walk out because I had tears in my eyes with low business. Its no point go in Accrington shop because got no any expensive items in shop only old and knackered items. They said business need profit

Total waste of time. Phoned them up yesterday morning to get a price on my Xbox 360 and 69 games, emailed them a picture of the games and was told they would phone back. Waited in all day. Phoned them back only to be told the same thing each time. Eventually they made an offer of £25. I took everything down only to be told, the disc draw in the 360 was not working. When I asked could they take the games, I was told by the assistant: "I'm not allowed to buy them". Tried the Xbox when I got home, there was nothing wrong with it. Incompetent staff don't know what they are doing and should not work there. Places like this should be shut down.

Not the best service, first I buy a watch, needs links, I patiently leave them with it. With no notification from THEM I go in after a few weeks. Guy says he has the links but not got round to doing it yet. Fine I thought,🫤 I will come back another time, left it another week or so an went in. First the lovely lady LIES an says it's not here an out on repair 😳 I called it... "RUBBISH", I said, I talked to your colleague that's fixing it. It's here and you don't know where it is. Some lad with black hair chips in, I shut him down with his excuses and the lady phones the guy who was ment to be fixing it.
Ohh NOW, the watch is here, just wrong links, can you WAIT or would you like your money back. So I go to look at their other watches.
I'm just after a cheap work watch really, anyways see another for £25. Thinking with all this messing about and NO CONTACT, its gotta be worth just an exchange. Mine was retailed at £15. Well their answer was to swap over the watch to the £25 an STING ME FOR ANOTHER £5, saying it's a deal at £20.
I wouldn't recommend this place, I didn't like the way the woman LIED TO ME, however, in her defence she delt with the problem, rather than fobbing me off. BANDITS WEAR MASKS, THEY USE THE CGX LOGO.

Worst cgx co ever took my money and then said they sold the item 8 mins earlier to some one else /failed to tell me that they had sold the item for three days and then just refunded my money with zero explanation never deal with this co bunch of liars

Be careful putting things on buyback if you suffer with anxiety as thay will try and make you pay in cash if it's over 200 pounds now my wife has been discriminated against as she was told by the new guy to bring cash or he wont accept the card payment that is bad work ethics and put people off wanting to use this place.

An update on this is that Steve Mckay the regional manager has emailed me and told me nobody should ever be told to pay only cash

Waste of time here I took some earbuds in they give me £5 each on them then 2 days later I went back and the manager so he says Liam says they don’t take them and was rude I then explained they took some other day but he weren’t having none of it he then said they don’t take in unbranded products which I then asked him what about the unbranded earbuds in his window but he replied they been there for ages I think this store is not being run correctly and fairly to customers

I have paid 90 pound for the same guitar I've tried to put in on buy bk, and received 60 several times I have put this guitar in and suddenly they say I've never had it in, not only that i have also put in on buy bk my sm858 sure microphone and they saying it should come with a wire when they don't sell them with a cable and the shop didn't have one to test.. These are all trying times for everyone and they are the biggest shameful company taking adavanhtadge off the current crises so the company owners, disgusting and shame on you and the system can't even update your new address.. What sort of company is this.. Since cgx took over its a disgrace and i would advise no one to take stuff in there
