Great department store that I use regularly.
However, young women on footwear need some customer service guidance or training (even if 5-10 minutes before closing time with a request that would not take them beyond close of shop). 🤷‍♀️

Camp Hopson on the main pedestrian strip in Newbury town centre is a gem. Been in here a few times and always find something fresh. It’s a compact store but surprisingly packed with goodness and stuff. You will find some key concessions in here: Boss, Chanel, Jo Malone and Molton Brown (becoming rare on the high street but in full force here). Staff are friendly, not pushy and helpful. Browse at your own pace and explore the products. This is how it used to be and how it should be. Cafe on the roof terrace and the Home annex out back. If you are in Newbury it’s well worth a visit. Recommended.

Excellent service, lady at the pay desk pointed out that I had £30 to spend from my loyalty card so my purchase was only £4.99, (result 😀) Staff are always friendly, courteous and helpful. Thank you Camp Hopson staff and merry Christmas 🎅

Fantastic service in the bed department they have gone above and beyond we had a problem with our new mattress due to fumes this has been resolved with no fuss Gareth was most helpful and attentive I would have no hesitation in recommending Camps to anyone

Came here for Afternoon tea as a birthday treat by a friend. Can highly recommend. The staff were attentive and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. Our only complaint was they are very slow at clearing tables. Would certainly return and recommend for any time of the day. There is also a seating area outside for warmer days

Extension to the other Camp Hopson with a range of things for sell - toys, home stuff, food and drink, decorations, bedding, for pets, etc. Customer toilets available there too and staff ready to help and advise.

Decent extension to the camp hobson store, located in what was the wilkos store. It's a mixture of the furniture store and the department store. Mainly stocking reduced and clearance goods including some furniture, bedding, towels, toys, cookware, home furnishings etc. As its just been opened its fairly clean inside and it's not fully utilised the space but credit to camp hobson for not letting this large space go unused.
