I recently visited B&Q Blackburn as I needed to get some garden stones. However, they were too heavy for me to lift, I managed to get them into the trolley but I was not able to take them out. I asked the girl at the tills if there was anyone to help me put them into the car and she spoke on her headset and someone came down. A assistant called Junaid assisted me. he was very helpful and kind. he offered to push my trolley for me as he could tell I was struggling. He made good conversation with me whilst we went to the car and then kindly put them away for me and he even offered to take my trolley back. I have never experienced such great service from such a lovely member of staff. 10/10 customer service. He is a credit to your store. I will be visiting again.

Should be a 0 star option, terrible service from start to finish. Ordered wardrobes from my local store in May 24, at the point of paying for the order was told the doors weren't in stock and they would be in touch with me once they became available. No response from them whatsoever and then a month later I had to resort to chasing them for a response, lodged a complaint, and this prompted them to magically contact me and tell me they had "good news" and I could now go back to my local store and complete the order. Went in after booking an appointment, at the point of making payment, I was then told that unfortunately the doors had gone out of stock again literally while we were completing the order details on their computer. Fast forward even more months, into October and after another complaint the store manager (Holly) got in touch and then I had to go back in to finally complete the order, only to be told that the prices had now gone up and they were expecting me to pay the increased price (approx. £200 difference), refused and insisted that they honour the original prices agreed which they grudgingly did, however it appears that in order to get the price back down to the original price agreed at the outset, some items were removed from the order.

At the point of finally receiving delivery in October 24, when the fitter I had hired to put everything together realised that items were missing and the job couldn't be completed, I then had to re-order the missing items which have been arriving in a piece meal fashion ever since. An initial set of 2 internal shelves arrived with no actual fittings, the box appeared to have been tampered with and the actual items were chipped and damaged, called their useless customer service line who sent me back to the local store who then had to re-order a new set for me as they didn't sell the bracket, fittings in store....

Finally arrived a week later, again after chasing them however 1 set of internal shelves is still to arrive, I had to again ring their useless customer services team, was on hold for 42 minutes while the services staff member tried to figure out what was going on, eventually told that they would dispatch immediately, got a text on Thursday this week saying the item would be delivered on Friday by Parcelforce nothing arrived and still waiting on Saturday and on checking with Parcelforce they haven't even received the item yet, so back to calling the useless B&Q customer services number again who after initially lying to me and putting me on hold for 27 minutes realised that the item delivery didn't even appear to have been dispatched and was still pending on their system, so what happens next? They aren't sure and are going to investigate and get back to me ......

Shockingly awful and unprofessional company, they seem to be going seriously downhill. I would highly recommend you all avoid ordering any furniture, kitchens, bathrooms from them and go elsewhere, if you are ever in their showroom section you will see the complete lack of interest from the staff, terrible customer service, they try not to even acknowledge their customers, probably too much for them to have to do any work I suppose.

Wish I had gone to Ikea.

Hi, today I've been on this store in Blackburn for an understairs storage. The sales advisor was Mr. Ishy and I want to state my 5* star review on his approach. Punctual, very helpful, and always worried with all details, so nothing go wrong on our project. This is the definition of a PROFESSIONAL. hope the Store manager and the in-line direct supervisor that they need to keep and praise valuable assets like him.

Today, I visited the B&Q store in Blackburn because I urgently needed some wood cut. Owen was incredibly helpful, cutting the wood into 8 pieces for me.
