They ruined a new jacket I had taken in to shorten the sleeves. The sleeves had a zipper so I knew it wasn't going to be an easy alteration but they said no problem. Instead of doing it properly/professionally, by cutting off the extra fabric and part of the zipper (or shorten it from the shoulders), the seamstress just tucked everything under and did a terrible sewing job. I paid $38 for this and regret not asking for my money back at least. Maybe that’s why they make you pay first! My dad was an excellent tailor so I know a good (or bad) job when I see one. She knew I was upset because I complained but she kept trying to flatter me “you are so skinny,” “I like your earrings.” I couldn’t believe that was how she was responding to my disappointment. Guess she thought if she flattered me long enough I’d forget she ruined my nice jacket!

If you want your clothing to be done well, don't look any further. With over 30 years of experience , they have Excellent attention to detail. I've gone to several places and I go here when I want to ensure my clothing will be done well, especially for fine clothing. Yes it's somewhat expensive but you get what you pay for, which is an excellent outcome in this case.

Boris’s Wife (forgot her name) was SUPER nice and was able to get alterations done for a bunch of clothes I brought to her really quickly and very well done, she even went so far as to press the pants before returning them. 10/10

So glad I found Boris custom tailoring. They handmake suits and shirts, so rest assured that they can handle any tailoring needs to the highest level. Can do pretty much whatever you want. Custom suits. Great alterations. Quick turn around. I brought trousers in on Friday and they were done on Monday. The shirts they make are great looking but I haven't purchased one yet. Also they're hilarious. Boris sat down and joked with us about marriage while his wife measured me up. Just a fun experience
