When we visited on Tuesday 7th January From start to finish it was a really good experience, attentive staff Fiona & Sophie couldn't of done anymore for us. The food was amazing with generous portions and very reasonably priced. The food and service was that good we have booked to come back this Sunday with family.

By far the best roast dinner around! We had a beautiful roast dinner today, the service was great and the food was delicious. We travel over 40 minuets to come to the Barley mow as we always know we are going to get top quality here. My 2 children thoroughly enjoyed a vegetable mac n cheese packed with flavour. A great place to take children they have many options on the children's menu. Of course we had choc brownies all round for pudding. Lovely pub and lovely atmosphere.

Nice pub that’s busy they managed to find us a table though. Lots of choice on the menu so you won’t struggle to find something you like. The garden in the summer is lovely.

I visited in early January and it was an amazing experience. The staff were amazing and very helpful. For example, Sienna helped us that evening and she was very cheerful and happy to help. In addition, Fiona was very kind and aswell, happy to help. The food was also amazing and well priced. I couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming environment when i came with my family. 100% would visit again.

Another lovely meal in very comfortable surroundings. We had a great deal with their current offer of £16.50 for 2 courses, which meant we could afford a decent bottle of wine (we'd highly recommend the Portuguese Douro) still save money. Heidi and Sara were very friendly and helpful. Love this place

Had a lovely lunch here last weekend with family. Food was great and the pub so atmospheric. Our main server - Hannah - was absolutely wonderful, so helpful, friendly and thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble. She really made our meal so special. We'll definitely be back!
