I recently visited the Banbury Bannatyne’s on a day pass. I was really impressed, it had lots of equipment, huge spin class, a nice big pool which was very clean, so I had a good workout and a long swim followed by the hot tub and sauna. The staff were very friendly and helpful, think all the clubs could benefit from a little more signage for newbies though.

I put 3 star as I went for a spa day. The treatments we had were amazing but the pool was just lanes and I just wanted to relax in pool so we didn't bother. We had a meal included in the price which turned out to be soup or jacket potatoes or poached eggs on toast. Not a very good range of choice. And you ate your meal in reception area/ cafeteria. I've done a few spa days but would say this was disappointing. The gym ect and the surroundings were lovely and perfect for a gym but not for a relaxing spa day. But do have treatments the massage with hot stones was amazing.

Tessa gave me the best massage I have ever had. 20 minutes of pure heaven for a early mother's day treat. The relaxation room is also lovely, however, the pool is a bit too busy for me. Would join tho!x

Bought myself a treat through red letter day. Was just what the Dr ordered.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Facilities were clean and all that you'd need.
Only down side was the lunch, which was included in the gift. There was a choice or soup or jacket potato but then couldn't expect more for 50 pounds.
Also got a mini treatment from a masseuse called Emily, highly recommend her. Got to be the best masseuse I've met yet, certainly knowledgeable and friendly.

Very clean and tidy with good facilities and very friendly, helpful staff.
I’ve been having PT sessions with Andrzej who is an asset to the team. Great guy with exceptional knowledge and a big reason for my continued membership at the gym.

I would give 5 stars but the opening hours are very poor considering the premium price of membership. I don’t understand why Fridays are shorter than other weekdays as it makes it a much greater challenge to get to the gym after work. The weekend hours are also very poor. If I didn’t have my PT sessions with Andrzej then I would look to join another gym purely down to the opening hours.

I visited here on a spa day for 2 package.

Left feeling really relaxed and enjoyed it.

Here's the low down:

It's easy to find and has huge car park that's free of charge. The lady on reception was lovely and gave us all the info we needed. There was a snag at this point that towels, robes and slippers aren't included in the spa package! You have to pay £8 per person to "rent" them with an additional £10 deposit which is refunded on return. I'd have expected these with any spa package but I suppose money needs to be made, I'd have been happier if they were a £5 each as £8 just seems a bit high. Anyway back onto it... the spa was nice, soothing music, dim and hot beds to relax on whilst waiting for treatments. I must say I don't think the staff read the questionnaires because I asked for a sports type massage and got a relaxing one instead but I did like it and I felt chilled after it. Happy with that and the facial.

Went into the pool area which was clean had a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and pool and wasn't busy.

Also had food in the lobby area which wasn't over priced and came quick and was tasty.

Couple of niggles (which you kind of expect) but I would recommend this club and their treatments

Me and my partner booked a ‘Spa Day’ for our anniversary 3 months in advance. We got a call on the morning of our spa day to say that they could no longer offer our treatment at the same time and these will have to be done separately (no explanation for this was given) On arrival, the staff seemed abit clueless and showed no customer service skills at all. We weren’t told where anything was, what times we could use the facilities etc. It was very much a case of hope for the best.. The jacuzzi, steam room, pool and sauna were all very overcrowded. During my partners massage the lady giving the treatment asked her if she believed in God and would she mind praying for her as she has a bad skin condition, my partner felt really uncomfortable! Very disappointing and safe to say we won’t be returning.

I was shocked after I canceled mine membership they deducted money from my husband's account for another year. And since my husband canceled it then now asking me to pay . although it has already been cancelled for 2023. Advice to the manager to do your job more carefully. And if you not able to do it properly, change jobs.
