It is surprising that our local post office were able to help my wife and I to do something that our local bank couldn't and although many people could not supply an answer, (even in the banking industry they are not always capable) the post office gave us the answer we needed, namely to buy an item with cash without being suspected of laundering money. Such is the crazy, suspicious minds of the powers that be. Be knowledgeable of "silliness" when you wish to buy something with a lot of cash. The post office can accept sums up to the value of £2000...no higher, which can then be used to buy the "expensive" item of your choice via your bank card. On this occasion, I sought good advice from Ashleigh Way Post Office, Teignmouth

Had a missed call from this number and rang back. I was looking to confirm if they were a business or not so I could request they do not save or hold any of my contact details to which they refused to confirm. Very rude and unprofessional person who answered and who either misdialled or is using contact information when they shouldn’t be.

Our nearest convenience store and P.O. Reasonable prices and well stocked given its relatively small size. Local products stocked eg. Mini Heaven and Shaldon bakery. The problem with the latter is that I can't resist their ugli buns.
