Aldi is a place unknown to many but loved by alot..to take the leap and actually give it a try is actually a good idea..as many of the products are the same or very similar..I have yet to actually commit to a full weekly shop but it has been awesome for random purchases of random good products that see online and get notified for 😀

Dark haired girl was stacking shelves and was cheeky and condescending when I asked for help today.
Won't go back there again.

I like Aldi even with the current situation most common items were in stock. Very sensibly they have put a restriction of 4 of any item per customer. Very busy this afternoon but staff still helpful and friendly and places to park as well.
Pretty much back to normal now. Most item in stock apart from cat biscuits, and no restrictions.
Called in this afternoon. Very busy but all tills open and quick service. Staff polite and helpful.
No real changes apart from an increase in prices. Having said that it is still cheaper here than the other large supermarkets
Small increase in prices again but remains cheaper and very good quality.
Really good deal on own brand ice cream and very tasty!!
Lots of great Christmas produce now in.
Food is still very good value and excellent quality.

I TRIED YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL- SENT TO CHAT BOT, SO POSTING HERE

I was in your Newton Abbot branch yesturday and would like to give you some feedback.

I was asked by a memeber of your team to conceal a toy with a security tag in my trolley as they wanted to check that the checkout staff were checking the trolleys at the till.

I agreed as i was put on the spot. However, I spent the rest of my trip feeling pretty guilty, even thoe I obvioulsy had no interntion of stealing, it just made me feel odd, because that's the kind of person I am.

Anyway, the checkout assistant failed. I handed the toy over at the till and the orignial guy who asked me to do this was nowhere to be seen.

If I was a business owner I would be horrified if I found any of the management team trying to set someone up. Whilst I apprechiate that theft is probably a massive issue, this is the wrong approach. It makes the server look incompetant in front of the customer and actually left me with the message that if I did want to steal something by leaving it in my trolley, it would be pretty easy. Be greatful that I'm a good citizen, many would take advantage of this!

Please can you ensure that you care for your teams with training, not setting them up to fail in front of customers. I shop there because the service is great, but this time I'm really dissapointed.
