A Craft Lover’s Paradise – Hobbycraft Borehamwood

I absolutely love visiting the Hobbycraft shop in Borehamwood! It’s my go-to spot whenever I need an excuse to indulge in my creative hobbies (and sometimes just to browse and get inspired!). Walking into the store always feels like entering a treasure trove of possibilities.

The variety of products they offer is incredible – from art supplies and sewing materials to baking essentials and seasonal decorations, they truly have something for everyone. No matter what project I have in mind (or even if I don’t have one yet!), I always find what I need – and more!

The quality of their products is consistently excellent, which is so important when you’re working on something special. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into catering to hobbyists of all levels, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter.

What makes the experience even better is how fun and welcoming the store feels. The staff are friendly, approachable, and always ready to help with advice or suggestions. I can easily spend hours there without realizing it, exploring all the creative possibilities they offer.

If you’re in Borehamwood and enjoy crafting, this place is an absolute gem! Highly recommend it to anyone who loves getting creative.

A largish, well stocked shop carrying a wide range of crafting materials. Maybe a bit difficult to find what you want at first, but well worth persevering as you may come across other interesting items. Prices are quite reasonable.
Shop is located in a retail park where the access lanes and parking spaces are not over generous, so be careful!

The manager had to be called out to check if I could get a refund on helium.
Oh my world first impressions she couldn’t bothered, her look was scary and her answer so unfriendly and she ran off as soon as she knew I got all those points!
Never been hobby craft before and will never go back ever.

Helpful staff. Great for all your crafting needs. Free parking in the retail park up to 3 hours. Usually lots of space.

Wonderful shop with a huge selection of items that cover every aspect of craft work from the youngest to the oldest person,but their prices are outrageous .....l go and look but rarely buy....l go to the Range or order on Temu or watch Hobby Maker and order on auction there.l have a huuuuge craftroom and it's well stocked,but l dont buy anything from Hobbycraft which actually is a shame.....

I got balloons filled up with helium at the store. I bought all the balloons from this store, as they didnt give any guarantee of balloons from any other shop. So I got one number balloon of 6, one happy birthday balloon and 12 confetti filled birthday balloons for my son's birthday party, alongwith 4 weights. I got them filled at 10.30am and the party was at 4pm. But by 4pm, all the balloons were quite deflated and it spoiled all the birthday decoration. I am attaching pictures that I took at home at 3.30pm. This was the condition after just 5 hours. Obviously I had other things to do as well before the birthday party, and the staff assured me it will stay good for 24 hours. But it was a huge disappointment.
The lady told me the price 3 times. Maybe she thought I cant pay. It was quite insulting the way she repeated the price twice. I do dress simple, but that doesnt mean I cant afford things. I assured her that yes I want all these balloons with helium, I will pay for it. But at the end, she charged me but the service was a big disappointment.

DO NOT BUY YARN FROM THIS PLACE!!!
I Bought some pink “chunky” 6mm hook yarn and when I opened the package to start a project the yarn was tangled and the fabric was falling off the string! The quality of yarn is scandalously bad and I highly don’t recommend coming to this place to buy yarn.
