This is a really good garden centre that is easy to find with plenty of car parking available. The premises are large and filled with numerous items and for this time of year lots of Christmas items. The food isles present products to suit every taste, as does the garden equipment isles. Additionally the facilities include a cafeteria and toilets and well spaced shopping isles. Outside the main hall is a plethora of plants, trees and shrubs to browse. The staff were polite, knowledgeable and friendly and helped make our experience that more pleasant. Thoroughly recommended and well worth the five stars.

Garden centres have a crowded feel to them, but not Hillier's. The centre is spacious and stocks a wide variety of garden plants, tools, and furniture. It also has a tea and fresh food section as well. There is a deliberateness to the order.

Parking is massive, free, and easy to access. The garden furnitures and decor are of high quality and at reasonable prices.

Check out was also easy. Although quite a bit far from us but we will definitely be back.

Good selection of plants, but appalling service in the café. We waited 23 minutes from ordering to being served for two coffees and a slice of cake! We waited again in the queue to pay for our plants, for a good five minutes, with at least five people waiting in the queue and no sign of anybody even aware of how long it was taking.

I took my mum for lunch and the cafe/staff were lovely as usual. We missed the paintings around the café walls as they were always bright and cheerful.
Unfortunately though, the gift section was extremely empty and had barely any stock. I know it's after Christmas and maybe a January sale but that doesn't feel like a reason to have half the gift section empty. We were looking forward to getting some new mugs and looking at the gift section.. I remember the same thing happened in February a few years ago.

First visit to this garden centre farm shop and restaurant.
We stopped by for elevenses and the service in the restaurant was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and the food and coffees were great.
A scoot around the farm shop and deli with a huge selection of meats, drinks, cakes, breads and frozen foods, could have spent a fortune very easily!
Garden centre itself was laid out well with interior decoration area, loads of garden furniture and well kept outdoor plants and shrubs. Some building work going on at the moment but we will be back near Christmas to see what goodies they have.
Drop in its well worth it.

Just popped in to get some lunch and was served the worst fish and chips I think I've ever eaten. The fish was fried to a dark brown crisp and the chips achieved a clever combination of crispy brown on the outside but undercooked in the middle.
Why I ate it and didn't complain I am still pondering...
My wife's fish & chips was better but still not very good.
Shame, it used to be very good, with a wider menu range when run by Rosebourne.

Wonderful food and service. Lots of people waiting for tables but staff were very friendly and showed us to a table as soon as one became available. Food hot and tasty.
