Spontaneous stop for a bite to eat. As it was Sunday lunchtime we decided on trying the roast chicken dinner. It was absolutely delicious. The chicken was very tender and the roast potatoes tasted as good as home cooked. I would definitely recommend and will visit again

Popped in to have lunch with friends the meal is extremely tasty, well cooked and presented. Our weight was extremely helpful and very cheerful. Definitely excellent value for money and will be coming back when I’m next in the area. Didn’t really use the shop as we were only there to eat, but I did use the car washing facilities which were fabulous and once again, good value for money.

I have been a very long-term customer and up until the start of November I would have given a 5-star review. But I am seriously unimpressed with the new manager, the quality of service has dropped like building in an earthquake. I normally visit on a Saturday morning be these days half the restaurant is shut off people are waiting far too long to be seated (to the point that one Saturday at the start of December a member of staff was seating people before she started shift and had a change to take her coat off) and some week's the wait for the order to be taken is far too long, yet there's enough staff for no one to be waiting more than a few minutes. And no one wants to sit a walkway to eat as we had to this morning with bad lighting (please sort the flicker wall lights on the right as you walking towards the reception desk). Unless I see a serious improvement in the next few visits, I shall be calling it a day and finding somewhere else to go for breakfast.

Enjoyed many a breakfast at Bourne Valley, but today was very disappointing, a simple breakfast of poached eggs on toast with bacon. I’m sure poaching an egg is one of the first things they are taught at culinary school, but they managed to over cook the eggs, closer to hard boiled, and produce soggy toast. One other thing, £1.50 for one rasher of bacon, it’s fine though, the woman I spoke to, said it comes from a local butcher, hence the price. I think the standard’s of dropped dramatically. Is that the Longacre influence, profit over quality. Way of the world Im afraid.

Firstly, hats off and 100% credit to the staff working in the restaurant this morning as they were run off their feet. Well Done.
We have been using this for breakfast for about 6 years having come from another garden centre. Longacres took over this establishment last year and we were informed it would be improved and prices would go down as now part of a bigger company their buying power would mean better discounted prices, well that didn't happen but we were happy with the food and service.
Today Sunday 19th we arrived and stood at the desk (as indicated on the board) and waited and waited until someone told us we now need to take a menu, find a seat then order from the counter. There were so many people left standing at that desk during our time there. It appears this happened as of yesterday. The were hardly any staff and as they say complain at the time, but was advised the manager doesn't get there until 11:00!
I felt sorry for the staff as they were running around and apologizing for the delays with food and confusion in the process.
One lady said to us it appears they are going the same way as Longacres Bagshot which in her mind is like a staff canteen!
What next we cook our own.

I just had a lovely experience in the Longacres Bourne valley shop being helped by a lovely lady called Lisa (I was the one with the toddler who lost and found his bouncy balls!) The seasonal display/ items are fantastic. Reminds me of why shopping in person sometimes beats online. Thank you
