Great variety of products for anything craft related however prices aren't cheap, wonderful independent shop that's great for last minute items to finish a project though.

This is a brilliant art and stationary shop and don’t be put off by the narrow store frontage and it goes back a very long way.

Whether you are looking for A4 paper, pens and pen refills, watercolour or oil paints or embroidery silks, this is a good place to go.

The staff are helpful and knowledgable and if they don’t have what you want, they will try and get it in for you.

This shop, which has a wide variety of materials for use by artists and hobbyists, is conveniently located in Thame High Street.
I have been using this shop for many years for my supply of special papers and card.
I have found a number of items I use such as photo books and other accessories needed for mounting pictures are expensive compared with the prices quoted by Ebay suppliers - so I tend to buy there on a very selective basis.

Been in that shop 3 times to try and buy standard office items as I prefer trying a local shop then one of the bigger chain stores. However, the staff is unhelpful and unwelcoming. The shop floor and displays all look tatty and rather dirty and the whole shop looks a bit of a mess. I could cope with that but why would I spend money in a shop where the sales assistants don't seem to care much. So I won't be going there again.

I went in looking for nice C5 envelopes and the staff took me to them straight away. I had a choice of white or cream. Good service and envelopes were just right.

I only go there occasionally as sadly it's the only shop of it's type locally. The prices are average to high depending on the item. They don't seem to have any efficiency when serving customers, once I was in a queue of about 4 people when the sole employee available went upstairs to check the stock room for 5-10 minutes leaving the till unattended! I only stayed because I'd been sent out for something at work. It was a silly thing to do as any of us could have got away with stealing anything we wanted.

I agree with the earlier comment, I run an art class franchise, which is growing in size countrywide. I would buy a lot more items from Glynswood, possibly in bulk, but I find them very unfriendly and unhelpful. When you travel some distance to buy something that you need urgently, only to be greeted by, (No welcome), “no they didn’t deliver any” and nothing else, then you can understand why people buy online and have it delivered. Cheaper, their prices are not that great either and less time consuming.
