I got my daughter a balloon for her birthday. The sales assistant told me the balloon was air only and I said it was fine. I got home and the balloon was deflated. This was at lunch time but I couldn’t get back to the shop until after dinner. Thankfully I can drive! I took the balloon back and explained and the sales assistant said it was quite a while ago that I’d bought it. Then she told me it had helium in it. I asked why it didn’t float and she said it was the design of the balloon. I said it’s ok as the helium would be refunded anyway and she said she could refund it but wouldn’t normally do so. I thought that was quite ridiculous considering it was part of my purchase that was faulty. Why should I have to pay for helium for a balloon I’ve had to return? She did the return, which was great, but she definitely wasn’t friendly. I thanked her and she blanked me. Not good customer service at all. I use hobbycraft often, but I have found that the staff don’t normally seem to know what they’re doing, or are sat at the tills on their phones not paying attention.

Great experience at Hobbycraft Aylesbury thanks to Cassandra and her Cricut expertise. Cassandra very patiently gave up her time to help me purchase a cricut maker 3, she was helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

It's quite a big store with all the art and craft supplies and the staff is friendly and helpful too! Good experience! Wanted to but some painting stuff for my canvases and found what I wanted. They have good range of choice in colors and brushes! Definitely recommend!
