Really lovely store -- excellent selection of art supplies (paints, pens, and pencils ground floor, cardstock/embroidery/modelmaking in basement). Man at counter very helpful when I needed some help finding some clutch pencils inside the store!

Took my friend here, who wants to start drawing, was a great place to pick up good quality equipment for him! I loved the range of quality watercolour paper too. Really excellent range

The customer service is horrible. Very bad predisposition of the owner, not only did he not want to give me a student discount, but he also wanted to overcharge me "by mistake". It's a pity because the shop is very diverse, but you have to be aware of how much you are going to spend because if you don't do the maths beforehand you can get ripped off. Unfortunately I try to support local businesses, but next time I will use Amazon.

Ordered some canvasses on 18th July, no mention of them being out of stock. Nothing arrived. Chased them and was told stock hadn't arrived yet. It's now 25th July, had no communication from them, chased again, still no stock. Cancelled order. The service is non existent. Do not use, inept, unprofessional and simply not worth bothering with.

I've only found this wonderful shop recently. I have been coming into this shop regularly since as I'm doing a few craft projects at the moment. The staff are absolutely lovely and have helped me anytime I needed assistance --- even with recommendations! An absolute art gem in Oxford.
