There's a lot of stuff inside that you might not anticipate just by looking from the outside. Good selection of buttons and trims. Coates threads, not Gutermann. Limited choice of knits, all solid colours. Well worth a visit.
I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the rolls are stacked in a way that makes it hard to browse them.

Good value and very helpful service. Me and mum took ages choosing a fabric for a tricky project, and the man offered advice and then helped with all the "notions", i.e. bits and bobs like cut to length zips (2@2m!), piping and thread. He also offered cutting advice! Wonderful old fashioned shop.
Three weeks later, at home, getting stuck in, a nice woman happily gave advice over the phone when I got in a mess shooting a zipper slider off the end of the zipper. It was much simpler than on YouTube and you don't need pliers! And she even offered a Facetime call to show me if I was really stuck. Service - excellent. Thank you Percy's.
