I visited this place a few days ago just to look around,when i got to the hamsters and small animals area i was shocked,selling hamsters in what it looked like plastic take away boxes with a few holes in to a family with young children with the smallest cage i had ever seen which definitely was animal cruelty,the cages are labelled as fun living homes but the size of the cage is about the size of the hamster,also labelling hamsters as toys which is beyond awful. Don’t buy your hamsters from here or your cages educate yourself!!

Can’t understand the negative reviews we’ve always had a lovely relaxing time here weather we’ve sat indoors or out. Lovely fish tank in the cafe to look at. Scones are the best. Food and coffees are great. The young staff were very accommodating many thanks x

Excellent place to have a wander around whatever time of year or regardless of the weather, we often visit throughout the year for several different reasons, just to visit the lovely tea room or the aquatic centre, for plants or plant feed/ treatments and to see the Christmas display.
Always a nice place to spend time visiting for whatever reason

Haven't been here for a few years and not overly impressed on my return visit. We decided to have lunch in the Kingfisher restaurant. The food was okay but nothing to rave about but my main problem was there was absolutely no heating on and the place was freezing. Nothing worse than eating in a cold environment in your coat. The only thing that was warm were the cold drinks as the fridge wasn't turned either.

We had a very nice lunch, bacon, brie panini which was really lovely delicious. Jacket potato with any of the fillings are always good too. Restaurant was cold though which wasn't great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bought a patio set and were the lady who served me was wonderful, the young man who got it from the warehouse interrupted his lunch to get it so we could be on on our way. What a star! A lovely place to look around, great selection and somewhere to have a coffee and lunch. We are lucky to have such a place to visit, long may it continue!

What a gem of a place I found today staff were very helpful.the variety of plants on display was truly breathtaking. My electric wheelchair took me everywhere with no tight squeezes, and the cafe was fantastic. It made for a fabulous morning out, and every plant looked its best.

Been to the cafe in the past and was pleased.
Just been in and had tea and cake to find no clean tables , dirt and food on the floor,
Very poor 😔
The boy staff when approached didn’t seem too bothered.
It’s a shame I won’t be back.

Not bad selection of plants, prices are fair. Not somewhere I'd go again looking for the different and tropical plants, houseplant selection average as well, so didn't suit my requirements as opposed to criticism and plants are healthy. But if you want your common garden plants, averagely priced, then worth a visit.
