Worse boots pharmacy I've ever used. Ever since they closed the smaller store down it has become appalling. You wait in the queue for 40mins to be told not ready or out of stock and to come back the next day. You do the same thing again the next day.
This is the third time I've put my prescription through, for them to have it over a week and to be told come back tomorrow.
The staff are lovely but obviously do not have the staff numbers for the amount of patients.

Boots had my prescription for 13 days, no text to say it's ready. 3 attempts to pick it up after the 13 days, only to be told you have to wait for the text. And this is insulin & needles amongst other things!
What sort of show are you running here!
We aren't taking these meds for fun!
The pharmacy is an absolute nightmare.

Received text saying Boots had my re-prescription 28th January Went down on 2nd February as had not received any further news to be told delivery of my meds was due on the 3rd. Absolutely ridiculous! These are pain meds!
They closed Gestridge Rd Boots which functioned really well & promised that the larger store would be improved to accommodate the vast number of extra people needing their service but nothing has been done! Now the queues are ridiculous & the wait between 5-7 days. The poor staff are stressed & no doubt being abused on behalf of the idiots in management responsible for this situation!!! Pull your finger out Boots this is beyond a joke!!!

Came in about 2 nights ago having a severe allergic reaction, full anaphylactic shock. And was helped by 2 staff members who I didn’t catch the names of, both were extremely helpful, 1 calling 999 and the other giving me the epipen. Fully saved my life. They were so kind and reassuring and really just 10/10. Thank you so so much, for acting calmly, quickly and genuinely, wouldn’t be here without you.

They are bloody awful now, have not been able to contact the pharmacy department by telephone for at least over the last 12 months or more ! They refuse to answer the phone, and I have been waiting for over a week now to collect a repeat prescription! The most incompetent and inefficient pharmacy in Devon! Only put 1 star to be able to leave a review otherwise it would have been zero stars! 😡

Don't book a flu jab with boots, if you do they keep sending you texts and email reminders of your appointment and when you turn up for your appointment they tell you you should of had a phone call to cancel due to no vaccine!

Made the mistake of using the pharmacy a second time in 6 months and again found the over-the-counter staff extremely rude when we only went to ask Pharmacist for advice as suggested by NHS for minor ailments. If you don’t have medical training please keep your opinions and your barbed comments to yourself they are not helpful only hurtful. Will not be returning to this store ever again. Boots you need to train your staff better in customer care - if it was a customer being rude to a member of staff it wouldn’t be tolerated. Don’t forget it’s the customers that keep you in jobs.

Situated on the retail park with Next, Hobbycraft, Pets at Home, Costa and H&B. Plenty of on site car parking which is free, standard one floor Boots set up with pharmacy and Night pharmacy window. Good social distancing and Covid controls marked and available as you enter. Beware of miss leading 3 for 2 offers > read the small print! Staff were very helpful and friendly, efficient checkout experience with our boots points card and there is an AED defibrillator outside on the wall. We'll done Boots!
