Garden centre itself is nice with good selection in the shop. Lots of seating in the cafe with nice view over the estuary. Dog friendly area, ramp up to the upper seating, and outdoor seats too. They had two vegan cake options (carrot cake which was lovely and coffee cake). Coffee however was more like warm milk as hardly any coffee in it. Staff in the cafe could be friendlier. Friendly helpful staff on the till of the shop.

Had a lovely lunch today in the cafe, great food with reasonable prices, great views, friendly helpful staff. Picked up a few Xmas gifts for the grandchildren(I know it's only September, but in the sale) visit today only let down by very indifferent girl on the till, no eye contact, no please or thank you (from her, not us) totally uninterested. Staff training required or maybe new job?

Very good overall, the staff are friendly, plenty of choice in the shopping area, although we didn't venture outside as it was wet and windy. Cafe was alright, again friendly staff but the menu left us wanting, not a very good choice of vegetarian food and very long queue. We had a savoury tea, which was lovely but there was also a surcharge on a peppermint tea, bit stingy I thought as it is only a tea bag and a pot of hot water, I even had to dunk the tea bag myself.

This is very well laid out with plenty of plants and shrubs. There is something for all the family with toys, kitchen gadgets and appliances and when everybody is finished in the shop maybe have a coffee and snack. Highly recommended first class, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

You can find almost everything for your garden !Amazing variety of flowers,plants,trees, pots lights, water futures compost feeds Ratan garden furniture benches supports and so on!
The only thing I didn't find and I was looking for it is column trees. So if you have a garden you definitely have to go there as in my opinion Otters are far better than Plant Galore.

Exterior display area extended. Compost can now be found on the far right along with grit, choice of decorative stones and wooden furniture. As expected, plants are plentiful with everything you would need for your garden, or indoor plants, all to be found at Jack's Patch. A wide selection of clothing, accessories and gifts. Staff are helpful and ready to assist those with disabilities. Overall, a good experience but if you plan a visit, allow yourself plenty of time. Parking is free, disabled parking available and the premises are wheelchair friendly (wheelchairs also available on request) but there is a slight slope down from the entrance and again from the outside plant area and up to indoor plants and tills followed by another short rise to the car park exit. Could use another entrance/exit point at the far right nearer to the main car parking area. New customer collection point. If purchasing bulky items, get accurate description (example: Quartzite Pea Gravel 10mm large bag) go to checkout and they will find item on their list, pay for it and exit premises. Take vehicle to far end of car park - right hand side - and go around left bend. Reverse to collection point, show staff your receipt and they will collect it for you and help to put it in your vehicle. No more towing heavy carts around 😀. Home delivery service is also available as well as Click & Collect.

Very nice breakfast. Quite generous. It seems bigger and better than the last time I visited. Very nice quality and range of plants available. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Shop is well stocked and smart, if a little pricey.
